You cant say everyone. When Bitcoin was 20k in December last year, then many believed it will go further up. You never know that. Some predicted that is ATH. Some, and were many such believed that ATH should be way earlier. I remember Charlie Lee was calling ATH at $5k.

Once ATH was reached and price started declining anyone that was here in 2013 and is sane should know that we will have a year or two of bear market. And price will go down by factor 3 to 4. Yes there are lots insane people here also.

i generally dislike websites like this which make random predictions for bitcoin price without much of an analysis and then try to get traffic to make money! this specific website is one of the worst ones in my opinion specially since in the past it had a lot of nonsense predictions mostly posted to get attention based on the ongoing trend of that time.

as for my own prediction in this time frame i expect 2019 to be the bull market for bitcoin which will start up slowly at first and then we may even see a new ATH mainly because of the big news that we have these days and will be hard at work next year.

Literally no one knows what's going to happen aside from those who pull the strings behind the scenes. Everyone else is acting all smart while they don't know shit. We're all guessing based on the most recent sentiment and adjust our predictions afterwards when things don't connect. Price up means people expect it to go up further. Price down means people expect it to go down further.

People last year got a confidence boost with how the price kept going up what seemed to be for ever. Everyone suddenly became an expert because hey, they predicted the price to go up, which it did for months straight. The correction that followed afterwards came out of nothing for them, because they aren't used to seeing something like that happen because they were programmed to believe that the price could only go up.

What happened last year was conscidencia, analysts were lucky in their forecasts and today these same analysts can not hit a single forecast, people now must survive in this market using their own means, ie should buy and sell based on their own knowledge. 2018, has been a bearish and correction year and as such I expect this year to end with little change in the market which from now should be a positive one.
2019, is a year that we should watch over as this will determine either bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market is going to get bullish like 2017 , or not. 2020 is going to be a bullish year and bitcoin may move as high as $50,000 to $100,000.
Those with strong mind, are buying now and those with little mind are going to buy when it is overbought and when market is about to reverse.

It is a pessimistic prediction. It is good we have such also. The truth will be somewhere between most pessimistic and most optimistic. If $30k BTC in 2022 is the most pessimistic projection I am all for it!!!

This site is actually a joke with such predictions, and I remember some of old predictions from this site who had been a complete failure. To rely on this kind of predictions really makes no sense and I think that most will agree with that. According to them, the biggest price in the next four years will be 33 000 $ in 2022, and with regard to how much is BTC advanced in its first ten years this is a very unrealistic price.

Of course, it should be mentioned that such predications do not take into account any good or bad events that may occur in the forthcoming period. If they were to be trusted then it would be best to sell our coins now since in next year they predict drop close to 3000$.

I don't know why people will predict the price of bitcoin if this technology is unpredictable. Although many well-known crypto analysts had predicted that the price of bitcoin could be reach at $50k by 2020. I know this is just a plain guessing by them but I'm optimistic that the price of bitcoin can reach higher than that at the right time.

I assume this year is almost over and nothing major will happen for the rest of the year, I see the price maxed capped at 7 thousand dollars at most and definitely won't go below 6 thousand dollars neither. However, when it comes to following years we are all just guessing and none of it really matters.

The only logical estimate we can do is that the price will be a lot higher when it comes to 2020 halving time but everyone knows about it already and there are hundreds of topic started about that so it won't be a secret thing. You think if halving would increase the price people would not start buying earlier ?

When they start buying earlier the price will already go up which will make it harder for it to go up during the halving time. Aside from that halving there is nothing I can even start to guess.

but in all seriousness, the whole prediction thing when it comes to speculating the price of anything is based on something that is never 100% reliable. that is why people call Technical Analysis a pseudo-science.

I think your predictions are quite low actually. Ethereum only $600? It was already twice that amount and bitcoin is expected to be over 100k by 2020. I don't think John Mcafee's prediction of half a million will come true but bitcoin will be worth a substantial amount. With government currencies collapsing around the world people will look for a safe haven like bitcoin to store their wealth.

You don't need to ask predictions, I think people here have the same average predictions of bitcoin except people who don't like the existence of bitcoin.
