The closest alternative to use is preev.net which was creaed by fellow user examplens recently. (Bitcointalk announcement thread)
Honestly, the base script to that, along with mine, is taken from https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc2fiatme-a-lightweight-bitcoin-to-fiat-converter-5395520. I modified it though, to show some more info.

This is a different issue from the last time that preev is down it's related to domain expiration but right now it seems related to DNS expired.
Don't forget about Coingecko is one of the good options you can also use their Widget converter to install it in your Widget launcher in your PC.

There are a lot of options but Preev has established its reputation over the years, the good thing about this converter is they did not monetize their site, they did it out of love and service to the community, if they monetize it the money can be used to pay for the domain and hosting service but the developer opted not to place annoying ads, few webmasters do this.
Also i do love on typing it out directly on browser with ease or without any hiccups and you would be seeing directly those big numbers on how much the current Bitcoin price is.
Unlike even on surfing coinmarketcap isnt really that appealing on the eyes on just trying to look for Bitcoin values.
Now, it appears to be working for EUR as well.
Good! I think that all that's still missing is the use of multiple sources (at least 1-2 more big exchanges).
Actually also some reference to the initial preev for the look and feel would be normal imho.
The site you provided doesn't appear to calculate the average from multiple sources like preev.com used to. It's only taking the price from Bitstamp:
... and it also not working for EUR, while, surprisingly, GBP and CAD do work (I didn't check the accuracy of conversion though).
I see it's an adaptation of preev that also offers quotation for a couple of altcoins too. And I see that some special characters are not displayed correctly. However, it's a not-too-bad replacement while preev is down.

Actually they do monetize their site before but they remove due to many complaints before about cloud mining ads and other ads that could affect their users because most of the ads companies like google are collecting data like location, IP, and PC information. Since many people complain about this and due to the new policy GDPR before they remove the ads.
If the ads is your problem in other alternatives why not host a Bitcoin converter on your own you can use something like this one https://github.com/wp-plugins/bitcoin-calculator-widget
