I have only encountered this error twice before but they always come back online and operational after about 5 hours. It is due to the amount of traffic that they generate and might have a limit of how much bandwidth is allowed for their website's contractual outlined conditions during a certain amount of time.
Preev is finally up again,of the many bitcoin converters this is what I preferred the most,the user interface is very friendly no popup or advertisement,wonder where they are getting their revenue .

this has happened before with them, i think it is the problem with their hosting plan Heroku or their hosting DNS service. it was solved before in a short time but this time it is taking a longer time to fix since it is still down.

They seem to have removed their site from current hosting for maintainance or they may be migrating their site to new strong hosting which may take 24-48 hour for DNS migration.

Seems that it is not working now, I remember the last time when the same message was showed and it was down for at least one or two days! In the meantime you can check if their website is up here: http://isup.me/preev.com

Yeah. Preev is hosted on heroku. Either the preev app has crashed, or they're reconfiguring it. The domain and the heroku server is up. It's just the specific app.
