For Liverpool I think the important match will be on the 2nd of February, they meet Arsenal and everything can turn upside down there, as it usually happens in such matches. Considering that Arsenal are only 5 points behind, a win over Liverpool could give them a lot and I think they will not miss this opportunity
What if they end the match with a draw?? Both teams have a lot at stake so in a bid to not end the match without any point they will both want to draw , Arsenal is getting close to the top of the table again after the did dropped some points and went some steps behind the top spot on the table but Liverpool has been gradually going up till they are now at the top of the table and they are definitely going to maintain

I would also love to see the out come of the game between these two teams because I have seen their performance so far this season a d Arsenal have been able to defeat Manchester city which was considered a very tough team for them so let's see what they will do with Liverpool.

It will be a tight schedule for Liverpool, I see the schedule now they will face Chelsea first at Anfield on Thursday 1 after that will meet Arsenal at the weekend then this can be said to be a tight match for Liverpool.

Now I don't want to underestimate Chelsea anymore, they have been able to win three times in the last match even though it is an equal opponent but still it must be wary of Liverpool even though I have confidence that playing at Anfield will definitely win.

Now what is more difficult against Arsenal as an away, still the favorite team cannot be ruled out, so in this match I predict a draw or victory for Liverpool.

I was thinking the same thing as well, concerning how Liverpool will be able to cope without their hit player, I later realized that one thing with nature is that, nature will always fills every gap, might not be exactly the way you want it, but trust me it will be filled up. You can see that the other players have come to the realization that their hit player is not around, so they need to play to leave up to the expectation of the club and so far they've been doing very well. The players you mentioned in their last match, where very brilliant in their pattern of play especially Diogo Jota and Gakpo.

When he said miss Salah as the playmaker, I paused a minutes to recheck the statement, he was right but the last time I see Salah as playmaker was 20/21 season, since then they have not been doing much again, the fallout started when Mane left. Manse was even more of playmaker than the way Salah was when he came but their two contributions in the Premier League was unmatched but that wasn't the case anymore.

This season was fair though. They have made names for the club again but Salah absent shouldn't be a big deal. He is even injured from the Afcon match he last played and the agent comfirmed that he will be away for 21 days atleast, so basically he is missing the rest of Egypt matches for Afcon and there position on the group stage is also bad but that is going to be his less concerned since Premier League is the ultimate goal to return to because if they mistakenly drop form this table, that is going to be the beginning of their fall from top 4.

But City still has one game left. If they win against Burnley then there will only be a difference of 2 points left. Liverpool's next matches are against Arsenal and Chelsea and City's next matches are against Brentford and Everton. I think there will be changes in the standings after those two matches. With a difference of only 2 points, I don't think it's too big a difference to say that Liverpool have secured the points. I'm not underestimating Liverpool because of their consistency but they will play those two big matches without Salah if he hasn't recovered from his injury.
Based on match schedule, Manchester City postponed match against Brentford will play on 21 February and seems large opportunity for Liverpool lead top position for one month later depend on consistency winning performance. Current standings, Liverpool have 5 points left from Manchester City and get three points last match against Bournemouth for the first time after Mohamad Salah injury.
Have difficult opponent team upcoming match against Chelsea and Liverpool without Salah although he was return to the club after injuring with his national team.

Next match Man City will face Burnley with bigger chance get three points, premier league teams top fourth current standings very interested because Man City, Arsenal and Aston Villa have the same 43 points.

Jurgen Klopp truly knows how to rotate his team while still bringing out the best from them and I'm very hopeful they're gonna fight for the title till the end of the season. Manchester City undoubtedly will heap pressure on Liverpool but Klopp will surely want to make a statement with his boys this season
So far Liverpool are still unstoppable even though they are without their main striker who is currently absent (Salah), the victory over Bournemouth further strengthens their position at the top of the standings with 48 points, even though they are currently at the top of the standings but Liverpool do not yet have a safe position as title challengers considering several the teams below still have a big chance to overthrow Liverpool, Manchester City is relatively must be wary by liverpool  considering their very consistent performance, apart from that,  aone postponed match that Manchester City has could be an advantage for them to easily overthrow Liverpool. The next two matches are a real test for Liverpool, considering that they have to face two big teams from London,  if liverpool  lose in the match, of course Manchester City will really benefit because they can cut the distance even closer and I think for Manchester City next two matches will produce full points because they are against weak teams.

On paper Liverpool is clearly a team with all the advantages over its opponent Bournemouth. So it's only natural that Liverpool can dominate the match and win it with a score of 0-4. At first Liverpool had difficulty breaking into Bounemouth's goal in the first half and both played goalless until the first half ended. Liverpool started to find a way to break down Bounemouth's defense in the second half and they really made Bounemouth's players lose concentration.

It's true that Liverpool are not safe so far even though they are at the top of the standings. If Liverpool does not create more points difference than Manchester City, then I believe Manchester City can still occupy the top position and lead until the end of the season. So Liverpool will indeed be under a lot of pressure from now on, especially in tough matches against equally strong teams.

The next two matches will be tough for Liverpool even though Chelsea and Arsenal can still be beaten. Chelsea tends to be unstable, but Arsenal doesn't seem like they will accept defeat after previously losing in the FA Cup. So it's true that Liverpool's consistency will be tested in the two tough matches ahead.

Wolves vs Brighton

Brighton — Steele; Hinshelwood, Dunk(C), van Hecke, Estupiñán; Groß, Gilmour, Milner; Buonanotte; Welbeck, João Pedro.

Wolves — José Sá; Kilman(C), Dawson, Toti; Nélson Semedo, Doyle, Lemina, Doherty; Sarabia, Pedro Neto; Matheus Cunha.

This both team have an incredible performance, it seems they have equal strength because there last 5 matches are very good especially for the Wolves that have not lose any matches since December 17, 2023 against West ham United, but nothing can be say about this particular one because Brighton are also very consistent this days with the way they played pervious game and at the same time they are hosting Wolves, Brighton home performance is a nice one, but let see if Wolves can continue with their winning or Brighton win continue their home achievement. This match will be a tough one.

Yeah truly Liverpool will eventually filled the gap if Mohammed Salah is no longer with them but however no matter how they feel they can perform well there performance will never be the same as when Salah was with them because the role of Salah in Liverpool is so important that the club may no longer be on the same shape if he is no longer with them, perhaps just like what happened to Manchester City when Kevin de Bruyne had the injury truly they were able to filled the gap but there performance was never the same as when he was there, so the club suffered a lot until he came back and restore the club performance so perhaps that's what may likely happened to Liverpool if Mohammed Salah doesn't play with them.
It is really difficult to say at this point because their last match was such a great outing even without Salah. No doubt Salah is the main man of the team, scoring important goals and giving the team the needed motivation to remain resolute in all their matches. His absence will affect Liverpool for sure but will definitely not mean the end of them or make them being a top team in the English Premiership.

Brighton are really unpredictable recently. They are lacking lots of important players due to various reasons these days. This has a really bad impact on their consistency level. One day they score 4 goals against Tottenham but the other day they can't score a single goal against West Ham.  Sad  Otherwise I would have really liked to place a bet on Brighton to win against Wolves honestly.

I'm hardly keeping myself from their win right now too though but I won't. Because it seems really risky while Wolves have been in-form for three weeks on one hand. Playing a home game can still be misleading about Brighton here.

Brighton @1.60 odd appears to be a risk worth taking; they have an excellent head-to-head record over Wolves in recent years, and while struggling in a few games this season, they still managed to achieve a very comfortable first leg win. Both clubs have their best players (Hee Chen and Mitoma) at the Asian Cup.
I consider giving Brighton direct win a big risk because Wolves is not a team to write off. Even though they have not been doing great lately, they are always scoring in most of their matches. I will consider both teams score at 1.63 odd, a safer option. Wolves will not allow Brighton defeat them in this match, it will be difficult.

Expecting a battle between Brighton and Wolves tonight... This match is very important for both clubs... I can't say who is the favourite in this match, but the bookies think it's Brighton... Although it seems to me that Wolves are playing just as well at the moment... I think that the bet that both teams will score should work...
We keep ourselves updated regarding the matches in EPL because they're consider important in matches. Another EPL matchday, and I'm ready to watch both competitive and impoverished teams compete. There are games that do not require a straight win; simply do an analysis based on their previous confrontations, and you will be able to identify and forecast the outcome of the forthcoming game. Roberto De Zerbi faces Gary O'Neil at the Amex Stadium. The odds are considered essential for gamblers because Brighton has the advantage in winning the match.

This season Liverpool is doing very well, they have many games without losing and have become one of the main candidates to win the premier league. I see that they are very strong in attack to the point that even without having Salah, Liverpool are still having good results in the Premier League, which shows that Liverpool have enough attackers to not just depend on Salah. In yesterday's game against Bournemouth, Liverpool managed to score 4 goals and didn't concede any goals, Bournemouth only managed to have one great opportunity to score at least 1 goal but they didn't do it, they wasted it. Liverpool has been doing very well in defense, I hope Liverpool can maintain this good performance until the end of the season

only if liverpool is winning the games and doesn't leave room for losing points and could it become champion, other teams like manchester city are close to liverpool and in the past there has been a scenario in which city managed to catch up and surpass the team which was at the top and with that Manchester City became champions, that's why Liverpool needs to be very careful and not underestimate Manchester City, another team that is also in this race is Arsenal, which is a good team and will continue fighting for the title until the last round. That's why Liverpool must strive to win every game they have ahead of them

Manchester City, Arsenal, and Aston Villa all are on the same points right now. But Man City has one match in hand compared to the other teams if I am not wrong. So Man City does have a chance to get closer to Liverpool and make the point difference only 2. But I also don't expect Liverpool to take things easy and give up the advantage that they have right now. Aston Villa has been inconsistent in recent times and that's why it has become hard to trust them with good performance.

Sheffield United 2 - 2 West Ham

This game was very strange, it was a game with 2 penalties and 2 red cards. Sheffield United did very well in that game and could have managed to win if they had more luck, but unfortunately Sheffield United was unlucky and only managed to get one point in this game, with this draw Sheffield United's situation remains dire, they are close of being relegated, a shame for the Sheffield United players and coach who will probably play in the lower league next season

I expected West Ham to win against Sheffield United and it was definitely a surprise for me to see that West Ham actually draw the match. But of course, there was a lot of controversy as well if I am not wrong. But at the end of the day, it is not a win for West Ham, and that's what matters.

The forum of keyboard warriors & crypto pro's!
I didn't find a thread for Championship so I post it here.
Leicester - Ipswich: Leicester lost last game and is very good for Championship and will go up to PL again and I think they are hungry to come back with a win, not likely they lose two in a row.
Ipswich is not bad placed third at the moment and haven't lost in a while but the more you win the closer you geta loss and Leicester is better and got home advance. Will be a close game but I saw you get 1.90 odd for Leicester to win and it's just to good for not do anything about it with the information I have.

I also know Brighton play against Wolves. I know Brighton got some players gone and Wolves got that to + Wolves is not so good away, Brighton should be able to win this and need to win this if they want to claim a top spot this season. Playing a paralay that Leicester & Brighton win gives 3 in odd and that's actually a good value, I know it can be a boring bet. but my lately run cant just deny this paralay, so if you want to win play opposite as I do. *LOL*

So that's how I end up tonight without any pressure.
Good luck all everyone.

Hey hey what happened to Nunez in today's match Cheesy
Hes like someone very different than usual because usually he always wastes his chances but in this match he played very well and his hatrick really exceeded my expectations.
The score was quite striking in this match and with Liverpool's victory in this match they indirectly distanced themselves from Manchester City with a gap of 5 points even though Manchester City still have 1 match left but with a gap of this size of course Liverpool will be a little more comfortable at the top of the standings this time.
Darwin Núñez show the best perform today with brave and make Liverpool fans forget awhile with their losses after Mohamad Salah have to play for his national teams in AFCON.
I can't believe with fantastic performance from Darwin Núñez with usually failed get advantage for scoring goals but against Bournemouth success made brave. Not only with impressive performance from Nunez but also Diogo Jota made first brave in this season, seems without Mohamad Salah not much problem for Jurgen Klopp because his attacking players with impressive performance today make him can forget awhile Salah have absent until six matches later for Liverpool.
Well anyway he deserves to be praised in this match because seeing from what he did especially with Bracen he became one of the answers when Salah was not at Anfield and that was very good in my opinion.

On the other hand I also want to praise the steps Klopp took in this match because after all, by looking at what was done even though the formation and scheme were the same but he bravely made changes where he rotated Diaz and Nunez to the opposite side because usually Klopp more often forces Gakpo or Elliot if there is no Salah as an option but in this match Klopp tried to maximize Diaz and Nunez and the results proved to be very good.
Even though for the first half it seemed like they had a little trouble getting the rhythm but in the second half all that changed and became very good for Liverpool in this match.

There were too much hype after Mohammad Salah injury in AFCON cup specially due to current Liverpool situation which is leading the Premier League and Manchester City is hunting them but now after this game things are looking much better and fans are also feeling good because these youngsters can handle all which are required for the win in all conditions against any team now with this win moral is high, and they will perform good against Chelsea which is coming Anfield on 31st January for the 22nd round match.

Agree, because seeing from the discussion that is happening now it seems that Salah's injury is too exaggerated even though it is only a hamstring injury and will only miss 2 matches where there is the last match in the group phase and in the last 16 if indeed Egypt qualifies for the next phase (it is still possible not to qualify) but Salah's injury is like a disaster for Liverpool because it is too exaggerated in this case.
I know that injuries to players at the national team level can disrupt the course of matches in competitions for a club because the player is needed like Salah this time but seeing from the minor injury suffered it is actually not a big problem for Liverpool at this time.

I was thinking the same thing as well, concerning how Liverpool will be able to cope without their hit player, I later realized that one thing with nature is that, nature will always fills every gap, might not be exactly the way you want it, but trust me it will be filled up.

Salah will always be missed by the Liverpool players, regardless of how good they've been playing lately. Salah has a huge impact on the pitch, and even the coach is aware that it will be difficult to find a suitable replacement for him right now. Liverpool can win games with ease when Salah is not on the field. However, Salah's absence from key games could cost Liverpool points because it would negatively impact their performance.

Liverpool won't miss Salah, in my opinion, unless they have a player who is at least as good as him at everything. It's similar to having a replacement who is every bit as skilled as Salah. Salah's absence could be felt by the club until then, particularly in crucial games where his abilities truly matter.

Liverpool manager has been managing the English Premier League club for over the past eight years and that's why I think he perfectly understands how demanding it is to win the English Premier League title and I'm sure he's very much prepared for the task ahead. Yesterday, his team delivered a scintillating performance against Bournemouth in an away game to claim all three points from the match even when the club's top scorer this season Mohammed Salah was absent from the game. For Jurgen Klopp, it's a must to win the league title this season in other to compensate the club's fans for their poor performance of last season this season which his team failed to finish in the top four of the English Premier League table.

Jurgen Klopp truly knows how to rotate his team while still bringing out the best from them and I'm very hopeful they're gonna fight for the title till the end of the season. Jürgen Klopp is one of the best coaches with having strong strategy and better knowledge of the game which is surely bringing things positive for the Liverpool even they are not spending as we have from many other English clubs, but their results are also impressive so as things were having after Mohammad Salah injury now mostly are having silent because they understand Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp both can turn the tables and positive results are possible without one play as they are not depended on him, they are having the best unit which is surely deserved to be at the top.

Bournemouth were doing impressive at home but with this win we can expect good chances for the Liverpool to deserve at the top with their quality and performance they have few good quality players which were underperforming, but now they are having good experience and confidence which is helping them for bringing results like these and having top spot in Premier League.

Jürgen Klopp has always been a coach who takes his players to a better level. Of course, it can be difficult to always get what you want, but overall he is a successful and top-level manager. Liverpool have 48 points from 21 games and they have managed to collect them with good football.

Bournemouth didn't concede a goal in the first half and I think they put in a good performance against Liverpool. In the second half Liverpool started to show their quality and scored with Nunez at the beginning of the second half. Liverpool play a more relaxed football after scoring a goal and they can easily score goals against their opponents. They managed to score 4 goals in the second half of this match. Salah's absence showed that Liverpool can win without relying on one player. The team is made up of top players who can show their quality in every game.

Mohammad Salah might be Liverpool hit player but his absence doesnt affects the team in a way that they cannot perform very well. I know Liverpool to be a team that in the midst of pressure or red cards they know how to adopt with do much composure to win any game. I have seen several time where they equalized and won a match when they are short of players in the field.
To the owners of Liverpool and the coach of Liverpool you would know that they're getting to the period where their team can actually do well without Mohammed Salah. He's still one of the very best players in Europe and highly wanted at one point by Saudi Arabians. Liverpool can make the choice to cash out and make money on him if the Saudi Arabians come back to try to get him since they are playing really well without him and the players they have, have a sense of responsibility to ensure that they continue winning games without him. Liverpool will still thrive without Salah.

Liverpool still managed to win without Salah because yes, at least Liverpool only played against Bournemouth, which is basically Bournemouth is a mediocre team. Except, if at this moment Liverpool plays against an elite team in the Premier League or plays in the Champions League without Salah then yes, there is no full guarantee for Liverpool to still win without their key players . Luckily too, in the next match Liverpool will play in the EFL Cup and Fa Cup and will also have opponents that on paper Liverpool can beat them . But entering the second month or into February later, Liverpool will play against Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League. Of course, in that match Liverpool will still need Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold to be in the starting eleven.
