I don't know maybe this is not easy to predict but I think otherwise Manchester City have a bigger chance to win based on statistics in the first half
If the pressure continues in the second half City can score  1-2 more goals but of course the counter-attack from Liverpool must still be watched out for.

The pressure keeps growing on Manchester City as if they fail to win this game it is most likely game over for the title fight for them if Arsenal wins their game later on the day.In fact Arsenal has an easy game which I am sure they are going to win while Liverpool wants a lot of points in order to have a chance to go the Champions League so they are doing great so far and I would not even be surprised at all if I see a win from Liverpool in the second half.They have played well in the first half putting Manchester City in quite some difficulties but Manchester City is trying really hard to get the win so it would be interesting to see how this game ends.

It came as a bit of a surprise to see a goal from Liverpool, but City were able to equalize quickly and that's good. The absence of Haaland and Foden could be palpable for City today, so Guardiola needs to be more vigilant in defense as one more goal conceded could ruin City's chances of winning this match.

City will spend more time near Liverpool's goal as only a win can suit them in this match, with Liverpool relying on Salah's speed on the counterattack. So far, the game is more or less equal, City's advantage is not great, Guardeola needs to change something.

People think Pep has turned his focus away from the winning the Premier league trophy this season but I don't think so, Manchester City are still very interested in the race and will give their best against Liverpool today as they will be looking to close the gap from Arsenal and put more pressure on Arteta for the remaining 10 games of the season.
Manchester City are still competing for 3 major trophies, the FA cup, the Epl trophy and the Champions league, they have many options and an advantage to achieve at least one of the three this season. The league trophy is still open to Manchester City to compete for and try to win it if Arsenal lose concentration along the way and drop vital points and Manchester City take advantage to get the lead.

I had a strong hunch that this game would not go in my favor Manchester at first, I still have a strong feeling that the game may end in a draw or Liverpool may win because Liverpool is under pressure and the atmosphere is tense for both clubs. Liverpool already has a one-goal advantage thanks to a fantastic finish from Mohammed Salah, and they are now attempting to give Salah a very close marking and a very good defense also from Liverpool. Now that Manchester City have bridged Liverpool defense by equalizing.

Manchester City has responded according by scoring a goal in the 27th minute. The goal was scored by Julian Alvarez and it is clear that City deserves the goal. They have dominated the match and I was shocked when Liverpool took the lead. Manchester City have to prove that they can win games comfortably without Haaland. I think Liverpool will have to rejig their game for them to get at least a draw in Etihad. But if the game continues this way, I would not doubt that City will get more goals and win this game convincingly. Every match is important for both teams now. Liverpool needs a win to keep hope alive for a top-four finish, while City must win this match to keep on putting Arsenal under pressure.

Manchester city are yet to equalise the goal but they have been dominating the game in possession since the Liverpool team scored the goal, for the goal scorer Mo Salah he needs to be careful because he received a year card for kicking the ball away after the referee has blown the whistle and the Liverpool team will be on the losing side should Salah ends up been sent off in this game.

Regardless of the odds been equal right now, I believe Manchester city will bounce back in this game if they continue mounting pressure on Liverpool else they will end up making the League very easy for the gunners to win because the gap will be 8 point's difference but I strongly believe that Manchester city will get the three point in this game.

Yep, it turns out he's not as bad as I thought, as evidenced by him scoring a goal for Manchester City 10 minutes after Mo Salah scored for Liverpool.


With 1 goal scored by each team at a time that I didn't expect, it looks like this match will be difficult to predict, on one hand with full possession of the ball that Manchester City has they can score a goal anytime, and on the other hand Liverpool with a counter the attack was very unexpected. Alvarez has just equalise the goal on the 27th minutes which a superb finishing. Sallah scored first in the 16th minutes. It is a very tensed match right now and Manchester city is pressing for the second goalSallah missed a one on one ball with the goal keeper which would have put Liverpool on a lead. This game is unpredictable and I think that there will be more goals in this first half.

I had great faith in Manchester City and they didn’t let me down. Beautiful goal and amazing finish by Alvarez to equalize and bring City back into the game. City players are playing so well. With Grealish earlier denying Salah an opportunity to score and now having scored and equalized, I still believe Manchester City would go on to win the game. City are having more of the ball and having more chances at goal. With their consistent and accurate passes, it’s no wonder on how City are penetrating through the Liverpool defense.

It has been a dormant 17 mins of football from Manchester city who appears to be the better side but Liverpool took their chances and are leading by one goal to nil. Diogo Jota was instrumental in the goal as he did well to hold play for Salah to find the back of the net with a well striked left foot. I think the goal has boosted the confidence of the Liverpool side and they are playing more better than they were in the first 10 mins and I think there's going to be another goal in the first half.

We still cannot be sure about the result of this game but even in the best situation, Liverpool is not a stable team to bet on them winning this game even if this game was against a weak team in the table. For Liverpool, this game is important because they have to get the full points and stay at the top of the table but on the other hand, Manchester City is racing with Arsenal, and if they lose any point in this match there will be fewer hope for them to win the trophy.

It will be interesting to see what Man City do after the conceded goal... Salah scored in the first half and now Liverpool have the lead... By the way, the odds for winning this game are almost the same for both teams... I think we are in for an interesting game in the remaining time...

Liverpool has just scored a beautiful goal and it’s just the 17 minute into the game. A beautiful strike scored by Salah after in what I saw as a defensive blunder by the City defenders.
I honestly didn’t see the early goal scored by Liverpool coming and I think this should be a wake up call for City players. I think they’re a bit shaken by the early goal and they do need to sit up and not allow the game to go into the half time with Liverpool leading. I believe Manchester city would equalize and come back into this game.

Alvarez is still very good in that Position, Manchester city do not need to make that excuse.

 Liverpool has scored with a good ball from Diego Jota perfectly placed for Salah to put at the back of the goal. Manchester city have all the possessions and looked more likely to score with the more attempt the created but Liverpool have made good use of the one chance and opportunity that they have created. As a strong supporter of arsenal I really hope that this game stays this way in favour of Liverpool and arsenal later on today can extend our lead. Liverpool has had a good record this season whenever they score first, they always win. I hope that this game do not go differently from their record.

I would say that without Haaland, Manchester City's attacking performance is weak. It is very difficult for Manchester City to win this match against Liverpool. Manchester City was also defeated in the away match against Liverpool. Now it seems that Manchester City will lose the home match as well. Liverpool's performance today seems quite composed. I don't know which source is your reference for the prediction of the temporary line-up for these two teams. however, as far as I know Klopp rarely changes his formation, usually he uses a 4-3-3 formation pattern. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has been changing his formation a lot lately. referring to several sources that I usually refer to, City will likely use a 4-2-3-1 pattern, or 3-2-4-1. but sometimes, Pep changes his formation in the second half with a 4-3-3 formation, and even then it depends on the need.
well, as we know, in this match Haaland will not be played because he is still injured. which means, Pep Guardiola will play Alvarez. on the other hand, it looks like Bernaldo Silva will be a substitute option, the rest are main starters.
