Dont worry. We'll be at a new all time high in a few months. Just sit back and relax.
This is known it will reach beyond $1200 per coin cause that was the high 3 years ago?
How is this a certainty?  Undecided
i think that also we will soon see a new all time high price by the end of this year

i think that there will be no collapse in the near future, in my opinion the price will go mainly op from now on

I dont think a collapse is coming people these guys jsut want to scare you off so you are all going to sell your coins so just hold them for the end of the year the price will be great.

collpase perhaps not but a correction, yes i think there will be a dump at some point and the price return a bit at previosu level, but no one know when this will happen

Even price will goes down now ,will be yet another attack on 700$,if not succesfoul better sell some and wait on stabilisation on some level

Price is not going to much further. It may slip a bit but it will move back up very soon.
I do not think so. Just hold your coins the price will catch up $800 + soon by this month itself and I am pretty sure about that as the halving will make bitcoins flying.

And I think people here are not that stupid to believe this. You have already been holding on your BTCs for way too long. Why would you let go of it that easily. On some aspects, maybe he has a point, but I don't think a collapse just as what he is claiming is going to happen.

I think we should wait for a while, if price drops now then we should not get panic as price will surely go higher when we get closer to halving and selling at that time can be more profitable.

Price drop at this stage won't make any difference to the users, as everyone is sure that price will go higher at the time of halving, so everyone is holding their coins.

There is still very good potential exist for next rise and i am pretty sure about price it will keep moving up and will get the new all time high price for it, i don't think there will be any kind of collapse will happen and it will go down very quickly so nothing to be worry about this.

As long as we have the block halving still ahead of us, I can see another rally being triggered any time soon. I am happy with some sort of calmth in the market right now. I don't mind seeing the price settle around $660-$680 till the end of this month.

Exactly, price will not drop now, it will keep on increasing till we reach to the stage of halving and we may see some extraordinary price in next couple of days.

Sooner or later, the price is going to go down. All that comes up must go down, gather strength again, and look to break new resistances. Or I might be wrong. It's really hard to make bold predictions because when I thought that the price was high enough at $600, in comes $700 without any warning. I bought some at $440 and I'd be ready wherever direction the price goes.

it was definitely, because we have experienced the usual thing in bitcoin prices, when prices are rising very high, sometimes it does not last long and eventually fell back. but indeed this year we experienced a halving, so I think it will be quite a long time we were in a high price.

Theres still plenty of time for the price to rise at least double what it is now before the actual halfning.  This so far could be nothing compared to what's to come.

I feel like current price is so pumped up I mean it may be so late to come in right now.
I think even whales may have thinking "should we just sell out a bit and go back in?"

Whales don't think like that. They have been waiting for a long time for the halving. Some of them even waited for years. Pretty sure they would wait a little longer because the halving will happen days/weeks from now. There might be some whales who allocate a portion of their money to play with the minidumps and minipumps of the bitcoin price but most whales don't have time to play with it and also, it can just make them lose some of their profits.

I'd put money on whales thinking a LOT about whether to sell or not during the current pump. The price may go back down to $500-600 range, and that's potentially as much as $100 loss for each BTC not sold.

Because whenever I buy bitcoin, it always decides to plummet.

Bought $800 worth of btc couple minutes ago from coinbase @ $674
Bet I will have around $600 once the payment clears.

I am being optimistic, but this has always happened. I mean, every god damn time.

Feel for you. So the lesson i've learned: coins are bought only when flat, more or less. And only if there are good fundamentals. Monero is a buy right now.

I have set my target at $1000 and I am gonna pull the trigger the moment the price of Bitcoin hits that. There is no way this balloon will be blown forever - it will break sooner or later and I don't want to be left holding the bag like it happened in 2013. Of course I am aware that the price may even surpass $1500 later on but I will have made enough profit by then and I don't want to risk another plummet in price. It's a constant cycle between low and high price and it looks like we are getting to the apex soon and it's time to get ready for big movements.

Sooner or later we definitely will see a bigger correction. And that's totally ok.
But I think the time hasn't come yet.Give it a few more weeks or maybe months, for instance after reaching the old ATH or having passed it, some correction will happen.

It also depend on these things.

Block halving hype - If this is the only reason the price is going up, then it will start crashing as soon as the halving has taken place.

Chinese people trying to get money out of their country via Bitcoin - If this is the case, then we can expect the price to increase further and perhaps even reach a new ATH.

A massive correction is due, but it can either be next month, or perhaps closer to the end of this year.

We'll reach $800 at some point before the halving. I'm really interested for what will happen during the halving though. I expect us to rally before it like we have and I expect the low supply to make the price overall rise after, but during it is going to be epic lol

At the end of the day,  as long as when the dump comes we are higher up than when we started the pump i don't see any problems.  Of course if we do dump down to 500 all the naysayers will come out to declare the death of bitcoin.  Again.

It's probably because you, like most people, only buy an asset when it's rising.  My guess is that you're not buying any of the decent altcoins that have been pummeled lately.   You have to buy low and sell high, but it takes balls to buy something when it's in the tank.
It's actually a trait of a successful trader to buy high and sell higher. All of the best profits and best volatility is in a strong trending market, such as now. There are no profits to be made in a flat market - it's a waste of your money's time. Trying to guess the bottom of a decline is gambling and still isn't profitable as trading in the trending market even if you get it right.
yeah only expert traders who dare to buy when prices are high, because the ordinary people most afraid of when it falls.
but traders Experts usually know the potential increase in bitcoin, when the high price they know the price will continue to rise, so buy as much as possible and sell again in a short time. it was enough to make big profits.

On the other side, trying to guess the highest point of a rise is gambling too. But yeah, traders feast in a volatile market like this.

I agree with those who think that there will be a big correction in the price because a +$300 in just a few days is an extreme rise and some people are going to sell to get profit
Maybe a little bit right now but it will keep rising for at least a couple weeks so...and at the halving maybe another sell off and then a rise from the reduced supply will probably be what happens.

Don't be so pessimistic not from the very beginning. You don't have to buy BTC, wait a day and sell it with $100+ profit. Wait a bit.
I lived through many ups and downs. I don't want to buy and sell, as I am sure bitcoin is now still undervalued and real price will be achieved after we reach $1000+.

prepareing for a collapse that is never coming is s kind of strange. why is everybody telling such a big bullshit in this forum i dont see it why would you make panic for nothing i cant see the point...
Typical fudsters. You get used to it in Bitcoin or any alt coins too. You have the crazy "moon" people who shout the price will soar and you have the doomsayers who think it's cursed and will fail lol.
Each side has its own vocal minority, there are a lot of people that don't think either scenario will occur and everything will keep dredging on as Bitcoin moves, and eventually it will naturally hit the "moon" value proclaimed by so many users.

I personally have no real opinion on the matter, it seems like either scenario is possible, but I doubt the community would just let everything die.

Don't worry you may lose in the short range but for the medium / long term you will recover your loss and maybe you could double your earning, the price may continue even its rise during these days  Smiley

There is a simple rule for that; If you don't sell, you will not lose anything. If you stick to that, then there is not much to worry about. But if you see your investment go down in value and you sell, then yes, the loss is there. The real question is, how long will people wait in order to see their "loss" turn into profit?

I am being optimistic, but this has always happened. I mean, every god damn time.

Lol, RIP you. But seriously the market doesn't depend on your buys and sells, instead it's based on people's thought sand actions, supply and demand. With the upcoming halving this is going to be interesting.

We could see what happens after the payment clears...
prepareing for a collapse that is never coming is s kind of strange. why is everybody telling such a big bullshit in this forum i dont see it why would you make panic for nothing i cant see the point...
Typical fudsters. You get used to it in Bitcoin or any alt coins too. You have the crazy "moon" people who shout the price will soar and you have the doomsayers who think it's cursed and will fail lol.

At the end of the day,  as long as when the dump comes we are higher up than when we started the pump i don't see any problems.  Of course if we do dump down to 500 all the naysayers will come out to declare the death of bitcoin.  Again.
yeah but it would be also really bad in my opinion if the price start falling as most people will sell their bitcoins and the interest in it would start falling because of people losses

in my opinion there might not be any collapses in bitcoin before the halving because people seem to be really interesting in bitcoins so they are not planning to sell at least right now

i don't see any collapse at worst a small correction toward 600-800, in other word expect a retract around now, and then again a consolidation before the enxt pump

Yeah, I don't see a collapse coming right now. Nothing like a economic crisis can happen to bitcoin since it is completely decentralized. But its price can adjust in the short term, but only the short term.

The general trend is going up. And it turns out you were wrong. The funds are probably already cleared and you've clearly made a profit.

A collapse? Don't think so, but a 100$ correction is possible...

True, I fear even more than that. Price movements nowadays are spikes, so small crashes as correction is quite a possibility. Probably next week? What's your guess?

Bitcoin has always been a guessing game and it's one of the things that makes it so much fun. IMO I think we'll rise to at least $800 before any corrections occur.

Eh, maybe you're lucky this time and you won't get shafted by the market. By the looks of things the market is progressively moving up, and so I think you're safe from the harrows of the supposed curse that you have when it comes to investing. If China keeps being bullish and looks to propel the value even further, you might get a chance to feel good about your investment opportunities.

I know this feeling when ever I place a large wager on a bet. It always seems to go south/just like what you are guessing is going to happen.

Why would you only have $600 of BTC once the payment clears?

In the US at least, Coinbase charges a fee of 1%.

I think you'll be ok this time Grin something tells me this rally is not through yet. I always do instant buys though because it's safer, faster and easier. Set that up if you can.

but i think it will not happen for this month since halving is yet many days to count to be happen and surely we can see more price rally for this month theirs no doubt that people will still buying these days since it has positive trust to people to see good rally on bitcoin price today and im pretty speculating that big crash will be happen in july after halving occurs but hoping for this not to be happen or if it really happens i want to see 500$ price down and stable for bitcoin price.

Anything is possible, OP. For sure, there will be more swings in price in both directions up and down. If you are long, then there is nothing else to do except sit back and enjoy the ride. You can also have some fiat ready to buy more bitcoin if/when the price does go down significantly.

If you are short, well... I don't know what to tell ya. Prepare for a collapse - an upward collapse.

it always do that too when i get to buy some altcoins,  so its not just you that experienced it. Often times I feel like withdrawing my money because of it but i get used to it.
it will rise back later after all halving isn't happening yet.

Honestly, you sound like an insecure, newbie trader.

It's possible that it corrects right when you buy, and you sell, and it starts going back up.

So have some balls and hold long term. Don't search instant gratification.

It's normal that a good dump happens while we go up with great speed. Traders will use this opportunity to take profits in order to not lose out if the price happens to go down again. Keep holding strong. It looks like this bull run has definitely not ended yet as we have plenty more days till the halving takes place.

Id highly suspect a dip throughout the week, probably starting either tonight or by tomorrow morning and slowly dwindling down throughout the week and then next weekend probably back on to another pump.

I think everyone seems to feel that way. You can't ALL be right. No doubt there's going to be dip and it'll bring out all the usual creeps. Depends on how far away that dip is. It might be a long way yet.
