I think confidence is back in Altcoins market, the hype around BTC is settling down, soon the market will hit $1 Trillion, it is just a matter of when and one need to be well positioned to ride this gains
A week ago I would have said nope prepare for a winter of cash out but now I 100% agree with this because money will keep pouring into BTC and not 80-90% will stay there therefore it will give rise to tons of alts. The whole market won't go up obviously but the stronger alts will go first and have already which gives me hope this bull run will continue longer than a couple of weeks here is hoping it lasts a couple of months now.

Any thoughts on how high ADA will go in 2018? I missed the opportunity to get in early because I prefer to research the project inside out before investing in an alt coin. In a mega bull market sometimes pulling the trigger first and asking question later actually works better.

Unfortunately this is just a crazy bull market most of the alts are pumping hard with some random news and also ICOs are hitting the market heavily with minimum 5x gains. Everybody is in FOMO mode right now and they don't want to miss easy altcoin really do this is pumping hard.

The top coins are already pumping very heavily. A lot of the smaller coins have taken a pretty big hit though. Hopefully the smaller coins will catch up next year and have their own bull run. This next year may determine which alts will be here for the long run and which ones may be on their way out.
I have my doubt about Altcoin market bull recently but the recent market sentiment seems to have changed currently, I think it is time to be buying these Altcoins currently

I wish id had more time to buy alts, but the next few days might be very volatile providing new opportunities 
Lisk $90! I think this is the right time to start buying those altcoin. Lisk is less than $10 and if this happens I think I will become one of the rich person in my area. I think bitcoin will start to get corrections when it hit $25,000 and the corrections may not be a strong one. I have decided to keep my coin 90% in bitcoin and around 5% in Lisk and I have decided to stake with this plan until further notice.

Yes, you are most certainly right with the assumption of a huge bull run on altcoins as soon as there will be a significant correction for Bitcoin. Alts have suffered over the last months while Bitcoin was rallying and they surely will pick up pace in 2018, no doubt about that. However I think the price expectations you set here are a bit too high, I cant see that happening this fast. But this market has proven me wrong many times so we will see. ETH on $2000 would be awesome!

I've been having a similar feeling about the alt-coins, just having a tough time deciding which I think are the best bet for a spike. I recently bought a couple of ETH just so I don't get completely left behind if/when it has an exponential climb. I'm working on diversifying my coin portfolio so that it's sort of like a Crypto-Index-Fund. Sounds good enough for me, I hope your predictions are right; but what makes you think XMR and LSK will remain it's relevancy (or even increase) after the future Bitcoin Forks?
I think after a few forks, heavy investment from trading futures and some developmental growing pains there will only be a few, if any, alt-coins that remain relevant.... I see an alt-coin purge coming within the next couple years, and only those that bring something unique and significant will thrive.
I feel like there are too many alt-coins, and too many of them are "cult" followings like an indie movie; a good chunk of them have a "hipster" feel to them.

whats your btc price prediction on May 2018 ? thats most important think. if btc hit $50k so $2000 eth won't be problem. but than you must ask yourself is better Hodl btc or alts ? there is May 2018 is long term for cryptoworld. no one know what btc price will be on May 2018. so im not sure for Hodl altcoins. There are a few coins that can be good to hodl against btc . for example iota but you must know there are not so many. i think its better always check btc price and than invest in altcoins.

hmmm... we've seen often that if btc takes a tumble, the alts also sink. i really hope you are right, but i fear we may still have some weeks of suffering before we enter a consistent trend reversal
I am uncertain about this to be honest, you have the power BTC commands, the publicity it is gaining. The only problem with BTC is the transaction fee's and the companies starting to drop it because of this.

Agree, most of the altcoin is pretty undervalued, and I believe after Bitcoin starting to stabilizing, huge money will flow into altcoins. This is the perfect time for accumulating altcoins.

Heh, I don't know about these prices. You're talking about more than doubling and tripling for some of those coins.
I do agree, that the likelihood is great for alt corrections upwards PLUS Bitcoin corrections downwards to point towards mouth watering BTC pair gains. I see LSK is below 50k sats now when it was over 100k a week or two ago. If it even comes up to 70 or 75 after BTC corrects, that's a quick 50% profit. Not so sure about BCH of all those four. But they do seem to be eating up some Bitcoin merchants. Very hard to predict.

I think you are totally correct. People with BTC will be looking to re-invest in newer coins, and people who feel they missed the BTC bull run will want to jump into alts and make some serious dough. LSK will have a serious run in February for sure anyway. Cant wait

Trust that the bull run will happen. Although that is the case, I must say that you have bought alts way too early. You should have had waited until this point before buying some alts to store. You can add NEO in the list. this is because there is a lot of community event that will happen this December and by next year. NEO price is on bargain now also. just if you need some.

Yeah, that has been the case for the past several years. I agree on your first point made. I just think the second assumption you made is wrong. Sure, there will be money flowing back but since there a a lot of new people in the crypto space they will just be holding BTC. Also I've heard a lot of traders say they will hold more BTC from now on. Alts just getting wrecked over and over. I'm not sure if they can hold up with Bitcoin's speed.

for me at least i don't care about the dollar price. i use alts to get more bitcoin. maybe now is a golden opportunity to load up to get more of that. if the ratios stay the same then that's of no use to me. i guess the falls are sharp so the ratios should bounce back but i think this is the moment where any ideas of flippenings go to the back of the queue and stay there.

This BTC pump is the precursor to the next MEGA BULL run for Alt coins.
Once we start correcting, all the new minds in the space are gonna be looking for the next alternative to maximize their gains.
Seeing as Alts have already corrected quite a bit, it is the perfect storm gentlemen.

I think the assumption that a lot of money from BTC will flow into alts soon is wrong. Most people buying at the moment are buying for the sake of Bitcoin. Just too hyped at the moment. Probably they don't even know how to trade.
So yes, there will be flowing some money in the alts again but I really doubt it will be a "MEGA BULL RUN" :d

Well if you look at the price of alts every time bitcoin pumps you can see that they decrease, not only in terms of btc price but compared to the dollar also. The only logical explanation for this is that money flows out of bitcoin and in to alt coins. Therefore another logical assumption to make is that of the OP. The problem is I don't see this bitcoin bull run ending soon and at that point many alts will be in the ground anyway so it will take a while before the even recover..
Yeah, that has been the case for the past several years. I agree on your first point made. I just think the second assumption you made is wrong. Sure, there will be money flowing back but since there a a lot of new people in the crypto space they will just be holding BTC. Also I've heard a lot of traders say they will hold more BTC from now on. Alts just getting wrecked over and over. I'm not sure if they can hold up with Bitcoin's speed.
I am in alts 100%, I do not hold any Bitcoin at all. Alts did grow but their value in Bitcoin went down. I am desperately waiting for the crash, I need to fill my baskets for the next run.

When the Bitcoin price correction begins for sure investition in top 5 (if someone have more funds even top10) altcoins will be very good move.
