Yes, the fork that will happen next month is the one I was referring to....

I wish the developers of the Electron wallet would tell us their plans soon so we know if we should keep our Bitcoin Cash on the Electron wallet or move it somewhere else.

Well, Electron Cash lets you have full control over your private-keys. So even if they didn't support the fork, that's all you need to import your address in a different wallet that does.

Do you mean the fork that will happen next month[1]? I don't think you will need to do anything as the fork will be more of an "upgrade" than a chain split.

Just hold your coins in your Electron Cash wallet and I'm sure the devs will update it to support the upgrade.

Anyone care to list the steps someone should take to prepare for the Bitcoin Cash hard fork using Electrum's Electron wallet?

Is this a good wallet for someone to hold their Bitcoin Cash in so that they can prepare for the hard fork?
