not sure why this site says it's not too late when blue cross and blue shield and AARP says it's too late.

also, she doesn't qualify for low income medicaid cause she gets $2400 a month from social security.

my grandma moved and the post office did not forward her medicare bills to her new address for 3 months. after 30 years of being a customer they gave her the boot after 3 months of being late. i asked about paying the amount that was late to get back on and they said something about federal law only allows them to take on new customers if they enroll for the new year before october. i called AARP and they told me the same thing she has to wait to october 2015 to be covered for 2016. my grandma takes 7 medications and just paid $250 for one of them. i know nothing about insurance or medications and was hoping somebody here could tell me something that might help her out.
