Some other neutral (should all press be neutral?), negative and positive bitcoin mainstream coverage at http://news.search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A2KJ3CfWh.pNCUIAbYjQtDMD?fr2=sort&p=bitcoin&ei=UTF-8&fr=news-us-ss&sort=time

I love these non-geek articles. I have no doubt that us geeks are easily persuaded to use this new currency thing. It is the general public that needs to be willing to adapt it.

That was an excellent find, thank you! It, among other prominent articles, explain some of the recent rise in the exchange rate. I'll be staying glued to my computer for the next couple weeks (months?) to see how this plays out.

Long time miner, new forum member.

The recent significant increase in a Bitcoin's value versus the US dollar may be related to online press coverage.  Daily Reckoning has finally noticed Bitcoin and run a lengthy article on 3 June:  http://dailyreckoning.com/an-emerging-free-market-currency/

Daily Reckoning's general world view is pro-gold, pro-silver, anti inflation and anti government intervention.  It has a reasonably wide readership.
