Anyone know anything? 1 email ,1 service tied to said email, 3 attempted resets (spoof) real? Doesnt matter the email was compromised.

It may conceivable somebody is attempting to get to your email to take your coins.
The site is working ideal for me, and I generally make bets there.

I didn't feel anything incorrectly, and all my bitcoins are protected in the store wallet.
It would better if you change your secret phrase like passwords, email, and contact customer support before it gets too late

Possibly your email was compromised using that account of Freebitco.in. I have an account their but I haven't receive such kind of email. This is also an awareness to the users that never click or open such, this may lead to hacking. Even other gaming platform so far I did not encounter any hacked issues through email.

Did not recieved an email from Freebitco.in either, maybe someone was trying to gain access to your account. Been using the platform for many years but haven’t encountered that incident. About emails being sold, we can affirm that because most of us might probably been recieving unsolicited mails.

This could be a good thread so people will be aware of such phishing attacks to the players of the freebitco.in
however it's much better to report it directly to official of the freebitco.in so they could do something about it

ya.ya.yo!

I am not sure what kind of phishing attack here. OP doesn't show a link or proof if he was phished.

OP must close this thread if he gets resolved the issue. or write it in freebitco thread if not yet satisfied.

What email you’re referring for? Have your received one of those email?
I don’t think Freebitcoin are selling our email details, maybe its just another hacker trying to hack your account, and if you still have the access on your email and didn’t hard you yet better to change your password now and report the incident to Freebitcoin.
You are right I received the same email asking for password reset but since I did not request for a password reset I just move over it, I have being playing on freebitco for a long time now I am sure they will not compromise our email to any third party this is clearly the work of hackers trying to take control of our account.

Its actually happen not only in freebitco. In I also have the same spam messages like that in other platform and even mining website they are asking for permission to change the password. This is only means they already have access to that account you have in that website ,and its not secured for you anymore to use the email better create new or abandon that email already .

It's just these schemes still happen since even by now I receive so many spam mails in freebitco.in and also on the other platform. I never tried to open it so maybe the owner of freebitco.in should look at it and maybe best for them to erase the emailing system where they spread the news about them on email since this is been used by scammers to fool people.

And it's better to abandon that account since it's not safe anymore, OP can create new mail for safety matters.

They can't do something actually since spam messages are out of their control. Even freebitco.in will spread awareness about it, still, it won't stop scammers from doing something bad. That's why they called scammers after all.

Let's just hope that people will soon be used on these unsolicited messages and should consider it as untrustworthy the moment they received it. That activity won't stop as it was already part of the gambling environment.

Could it be some nasty mallware on your pc? Honestly i've not seen this on my end, and i also have a special email just for freebitco.in.

Or could it be you were lured into a phishing site (i know, no one will admit falling for that, but it happens)

His active any time he can come back and tell us exactly what happen to his email and Why he think its compromise .

I think what he is trying to say is that his email got compromised and someone tried to get access to his freebitco.in account using that email by changing the password and because he only used that email on freebitcoi.in he suspects that this website is the culprit.

I'm guessing there is a more chance that the email was just leaked and the person who got the email knew that the owner of email was registered on freebitco.in(these leaks usually mention from which website these emails are) so he tried to reset the password, it happens very often actually and sometimes even reputable platforms/websites are the victims of such leaks, and that is exactly why you should try to use different emails for different websites, even more specially those ones that are connected to exchanges accounts and/or losing them by anyway could lead to losing funds.

It looks like it's something serious does the OP posted his concern on the freebitco.in's official thread? Do the officials already replied or explain about something about this issue?
If it's leaking information like email it can be dangerous for some users.

There has been no discussion about this concern on the freebitco ANN thread. It look like its the OP individiual concern and he should be asking it in the main thread FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest

Should report that email to the support of freebitco so that they may have a look into it. Someone may be trying to break in the system. If you didn't initiate any passwords reset attempt, then who have done it ?

Seems that his case is isolated one. As I haven't received any malicious email because of freebitco. Or did the OP realize that it is not coming from freebitco? He's talking about receiving a reset request here but he didn't initiate the reset.

So a real reset request included IP that I induced
This email in particular hasn't been shared with anything but freebitco.in's website.
You can spoof phish with a real valid looking email these days. (Sender=legit looking)
The reset request that where not induced by myself did not include an IP from the request destination.
The only person I'll personally talk to regarding this issue is wetsuit ,I highly doubt he would sell any of his data.
*the email seemed valid , sender matched previous content formatting, sender name ect. The only differences where the reset request did not have an ip log.*

Can you give us the sender's email here, and check the validity if it is coming from freebitco's support email?

The info from @OP is not clear, so we don't know what is happening with him.
I guess he will not come back and explain to us because I am not sure that freebitco.in getting hacked and the customer email has been sold because I don't receive an email from them.
Besides that, I don't use freebitco.in to play multiply or clicking on the rolls too often, so I guess that my account will be okay.
But I think we need to make sure if our account is not compromised, and it is better to check our account and change the password if necessary.
Nowadays, activating 2FA will be necessary to prevent the hacking that we see happen on many websites.

His active any time he can come back and tell us exactly what happen to his email and Why he think its compromise .

Secure the email by adding  other securities it will be harder for any one  to  enter to his email even they know the password if its true that it is compromise or change the password he use in freebitco.in if that was the problem .
Although he is active, I am not sure he will come back here and explain what he means by his email because he must be busy to solve his problem Grin
I hope that he does not have trouble playing on the freebitco.in as we know that site is one of the old crypto websites that are still online until now.
And I am sure that the owner of the freebitco.in still maintain his site to still running.

Freebitco.in gives the members alternative to secure their account, and I think he can activate 2FA.
By activating 2FA, I think his account will be more secure, and he can prevent the hacker that wants to break his account.
That suggestion is not just for him, but that will be for every people who use freebitco.in.
And activating 2FA is not only for freebitco.in, but it is also recommended for another website that we use.

Now days for free bitco.in I use an email that only used for that single purpose freebitco.in. either my registrar sold my data, or it was stolen,'leaked.

It always pays to have differing email / profile names for various things such as social media (and in this case) Casinos.  Given you no doubt participate in their various threads, a hacker could be targeting you either by guessing your email and or user profile name and sending a fake, but real looking email.

I also received several messages that says to reset my password but I just ignored it as I only use freebitco to earn some free satoshis at that time so I am not worried even if it will be hack by the hackers as they cannot get a money from my account.

But for those people who store some money to their account in freebitco it will be best if they will enable 2FA so it cannot be hack easily or they should do some actions right away if they can received emails like this one. And lastly kindly check also the sender as there are many phishing emails also that are spreading everywhere.

Happened to me also before many many months ago. I think Freebitco lists are sold somewhere too because only 1 email account is tied to it. I changed emails though and nothing has happened since but I would always make sure 2fa on the site, or any site that allows it for this matter.

I believe the image below is the same email that OP received from Freebitco.in official email. I received multiple email about request on enabling 2FA to my account even though my account was dormant since 2015. Until now I keep receiving this kind of email and I already raised this issue to the main ANN thread of freebitco.in. Maybe this issue is for those old accounts or dormant account.

https://ibb.co/s6D6jXd

Base on the screenshot you give its looks like the email you use is compromise by clicking that link its means you are confirming to enable the  2fa . I am also long term users of freebitco.in but never receive email like this maybe Its there  in spam folders. I also aware that my email is compromised long time now thats why I decided to use different email .

Same suggestions for you OP better to create a new one than continue using your old email that already  compromise .

That is probably a fake/phishing email. Look at the pattern of the email. Does it contain your username or address anywhere? Do they address you using your email address or name? If that is the case, highly likely its a phishing email. Your email probably got leaked somewhere else (a faucet or crypto related site) and now they are using to send phishing emails acting like random but well known sites. Don't click on the email. Make sure your account is secure and has 2fa enabled. You can safely ignore that email.

As you have said, it could be just a spoof. The same strategy the scammers/hackers do with blockchain.com and other known services. They create professionally looked email and will send it to the people under their database.
Verify if the domain email is actually coming from freebitco.in but I doubt it that it's coming from them. Put more information for us to see.

If the email was the official email sender of freebitco.in, maybe you become a victim of phishing or your info got compromised without your knowledge. If not, then someone might be trying to lure you.

We should surely see others experiencing the same problem if there's an ongoing massive scam attempt. Reset your password now on your email and freebitco.in account.

Well, as far as I understand the OP posted he/she received an email for a reset even though did not do it.
Reading this matter, --we can't conclude yet since we are not a part of the Freebitco.in team. Perhaps OP will reach out quickly to their support team and ask if there is a scam attempt to this thread, [ https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/freebitcoin-200-freebtcwin-lambo02btc-dailyjackpot32500-wager-contest-320959 ].
If you are not comfortable with this, you can change your password quickly, probably there was trying to have a guess random password from your email account that shown somewhere else or perhaps have typo error with almost the same email address.
