The way it works is you specify a value by which should your currency pair rise or drop:
For example BTC/USD you would specify something like 50$ and get notified each time BTC/USD pair price
goes up by 50 or down by 50
This is how notifications look in FB messenger, its really neat you get all the different pairs in one chat, and you can mute it not to be too annoying
