May be I am speculating here... but I see history is going to repeat itself (not in the same chronological order though)...

Previous Scenario :-
2012 end: Block reward halving
2013 beginning: Hard Fork
2013 mid: Cyprus crisis
2013 end: Bitcoin reached ATH

Current Scenario :-
2015 mid: Greece crisis
2016 beginning: Hard Fork
2016 mid: Block reward halving
2016 end: ? ? ?
Isn't block reward halvening predicted to take place in the beginning of 2016 and not in mid 2016?

Nope, it is mid-2016.
28-Jul-2016, to be precise.

This will help you.

Well,

its surely not from Greece buyers but mostly from the hype and media coverage it got with perspective of banking issues. I see it as much more mature reaction and adoption than the Cyprus one.

Regards

Exactly! The greek crisis is fueling uncertainty, and uncertainty is driving up Bitcoin's price.
Expect volatility around Sunday's referendum in Greece.
