$700 is not the highest price for this year we saw price of $780 before the halving and that was the highest level we witnessed in this year but even the present price is good and may be we will see much higher price in next couple of weeks and my expectations from this year to see the price of $800.

Yes, it just break the 700 USD barrier, so the prediction on 700 USD at the end of october happened, I wonder what will be the next floor of Bitcoin since it already passed the 700 USD Barrier. I hope this will be the next floor and Bitcoin starts to hit 800 USD from now until at the end of this year.

If price keeps on moving in a positive direction in coming days then it can hit $800 price by the end of the year, and now I don't think that we need to wait longer to see that price unless we don't come across through any bad news in next couple of months which is unlikely to happen.

Today the price is really close to hit the point of 700$ I hope it will happen in next few days. It's a big break for bitcoin I think. More than month the price seemed statable on the point of 600$. But this days it started to go higher so fast! I think bitcoin's current price 697 $ is not the possible maximum and i hope bitcoin will continue to grow with the same temps.

It is not more than another pump setup. I doubt many new money is really flowing into Bitcoin. But let's wait and look how the things develop. In my opinion there is no fundamental change in the last three months when we went down to $500.

$700 is a huge jump. We seem to be comprehensively out of the $30-$640 range now.
I would bet on $675 being the next resistance level.

Now the stage around $685-690, so we are close to break to $700 in the nearly future.
I think for the next two days left for this month could become nice chance for the price to bounce up, we just can't wait it happen.

Your though's maybe valid but to think that bitcoin will be an national currency will be a hard issue to think that will be surely implemented, but also maybe those upcoming event really helps since that event is long wait and it can cause commotion on buy orders to the bitcoins and the other conclusion that also have strong points why bitcoins price for now is surging up is the price peak season with bitcoin and wikipidea can give us the answer if we seek past information regarding to this one.

$700 is a relatively safe bet. However the whales out here might very well be counting on that. In theory, after $699 someone could dump a massive load on the market and cash in while everyone else is losing.

Price is 684 $ today, I was saying the same. I'm also sure in that next stop is little over 700 dollars. We need just 17 dollars for that, and it`s possible for price to rise that much in next few days.

Shorting bitcoin (especially naked shorting) is not a good idea, given how rapid a bull run can be.
Agreed that $700 may look overvalued, considering where Bitcoin has been all these years. But market sentiments might take it much beyond that.

Yes that's why I don't get others why they are pissed of with the current price. Didn't they realized that we are down to below $500 for long time prior to halving speculations back then. Well hopefully that this is going to happen just like the rapid increase for the past months. Hopefully by the end of the week the price of bitcoin is going to reach $700. But if that is not going to happen by the end of the week hopefully that it is going to happen before the end of the month. We just need to wait for this for the price now is pumping.

Instead of hoping for the price to constantly go up, you can also appreciate the increase that we have experienced so far.

If it's going to happen next month, then it happens, if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't happen. It's no big deal.

Bitcoin price will hit the prediction of $700 dollars per bitcoin and many will be happy if this happy by the end of the month or maybe next month or the last thing is by the end of the year and this is just a spectulation but it just getting true and if this really happens then many of us are going to be happy because our christmas or newyear a god damn soo cool.

I just sold all that I bought and earned from April up to now. Now I will have to start from scratch again and hope that I can still buy a few, even in the low $600 range. $700 is very much possible, but I highly doubt if it is going to happen this week. The climb from $600 to $650 took a while and $650 is still not a strong support at this point in time.

Even thoug bitcoins price broke already on $650 price but still it would not guarantee us to reach $700 on the end of the week . As of today it stabilizes agaon on $650 price and for sure it would really take another time for it to move again. Lets wait on the next move though.

Yes it could be too soon, but not entirely impossible for Bitcoin. We have seen it jump higher before. Ok so now we know that there is demand for Bitcoin, the problem now is the "why"?

What is causing this rise? I have read an article that the big Chinese miners are becoming optimistic about Bitcoin Unlimited and that they are insinuating that they are supporting bigger blocks, ending the scaling debate.

We have difficulties at $650. Let's cross that level fist and stay stable above. $700 would be the second step, once the first is completed. I don't expect very sudden rise at the moment, therefore these little steps have to be followed.

Why would you short Bitcoin? In a way, it is like betting against it and the potentially big price jump to $1000 and possibly beyond. The coins to short sell or bet against are the over priced and the over hyped ones like Ethereum or Dash. Bitcoin should be held, and if it goes down, you should buy more. But doing the same to altcoins is not advisable.

overvalued doesn't mean price has gone up, it means it is over the value that is should be.

and when you say "demand of bitcoin is increased" it means the value is where it should be and even undervalued right now. and that is what i think is happening.

Forget about article, just think a bit. If something is overvalued, that means it is more likely that the price will drop rather than keep rising.
More likely means here that the price may keep rising for some more time, but not too long. That also means that there is substantial risk to buy at this point of time and the logical decision is to sell rather than to buy.

If we saw the price of bitcoin would soar up high gradually and then just as expected there would be really times that it would go down its price because people would really tend to sell up their bitcoin on the high price and with that it would go down again. Reachin $700 price point would be possible on this year not within this week.

Exactly, now bitcoin is $650, and definitely i can predict that bitcoin would be grow more than $750. Now you see bitcoin still in a good position, so i think 100% chances than in the next 2 months bitcoin will be rise up. $700 is a huge jump. We seem to be comprehensively out of the $30-$640 range now.
I would bet on $675 being the next resistance level.

if i wanted to guess i would say price is going to take longer to reach $700 than just one week. or maybe i am saying this based on the past experiences with the price and the long history of small slow rises.

This is a remarkable thing. even in some exchange bitcoin prices already stands at 660USD. a rapid increase in just a few days. when talking about 700USD then I was sure it could happen. My prediction for the next three days will increase again.

That's actually a form of good news to me as I haven't checked in two days only for me to log in and found out it has increased from 630s up to 650s all in the twinkle of an eye its really something to be happy about after I was tempted sometimes last week to sell the few ones I have but I'm glad I didn't fall for it. Now I'm happy and waiting for the speculation to come to play but its actually a risk I'm willing to take though which could fall through or not.
