The internet already confirmed it was the Amish Mafia manipulators.

You probably should have waited for a few more confirmations before going live with this.

I don't think "coordination" is necessary, if you have a certain amount of capital

There are still a bunch of corporate whales out there who see bitcoin as some internet fad thats gone viral..

Once they start pouring billions into the market, we'll all profit from pretty fucking humongous pumps...

we haven't seen a thing yet, in terms of manipulation

I'll buy into this.

While manipulation does go on in markets - generally in illiquid instruments or where the stock is tightly held, so there is not much float - it's a lot harder in liquid markets.

There are too many players, and coordination is difficult. Also, who wants to keep loads of cash at some of these exchanges. Bitcoin struck me as pretty liquid during the rise.

The Amish Mafia runs this world and has a hand in everything (They made up the idea of the freemasons running everything to blunt the message from those of us who know the truth); don't mess with those guys.

Is it possible that the $1200+ bitcoin peak was a result of some organized manipulation?

The dramatic volatility created in the wake of that peak has caused many speculators to be skeptical of bitcoins value.

Rather than viewing the short term volatility, it must be recognized as having increased over 1000% percent in the last year.

Compared to other investments this is extraordinary.
