Price manipulation is very usual in market. It’s been there for so long, even in fiat exchange too. But you are right, this article looks like a conspiracy theory. Government’s involvement is very much illogical.

first of all articles that start with something like "i called the drop before" or "i called the rise before" have no value in my eyes since the author is obviously desperate for attention that he has to celebrate his guess accuracy!

secondly he is focusing too much on a very short time in bitcoin (from Oct 2017) and doesn't look at the history at all. all the things he is describing in that link has been happening for years. we have had at least 4 other bubbles just as big which ended up with a very similar bear market right after and it is always the same dumps by whales or cartel or whatever you like to call them. and it is always because the market is too small still.

Do you think there is some price manipulation and suppression going on behind the scenes by large government backed

fiat whales? Are we fighting a enemy that has unlimited resources to print toilet paper money to supress Bitcoin's growth?

This article might look like some conspiracy theory, but I think there are a lot more to it. We see a lot of good news in the

media and nothing happens, then we get the slightest sniff of bad news, and the price takes a massive nose dive. Do you

think this is normal or is there sinister agendas behind this?  Roll Eyes

The scaling problems is almost non-existent, but we are not seeing any increase in the price. A trustee from MtGox dumps

a few thousand coins and the price goes down hard. {these coins should not even have made a dent in the price}  Huh Huh
