No more chance of BTC price decrease till 1000$. But may it will decrease till 1800$-2000$. Because as we can see today price around 2500$ but before 2 day only it was 2700$. So now price going to decrease.
i also think that bitcoin price is not going to decrease too much. i think it will stat at 2500$ tell 1st August and after that it is going to boost again and will easily cross 3000$ in next few days.

Well most of people are afraid of what is going to happen to bitcoin after segwit on 1st of August including me. But i am certain that the price of bitcoin would go down before that, and how much would it go down... well i think that no one can predict that. I guess it would go down up to 1000$, but not lower than that.

We don't know exactly what will be the price of bitcoin but for now we are seeing price drop from $2800 few days ago and now the price is $2490 Looks like there are whales are starting to sell bitcoin gradually just to trigger panic selling.

No chance.Rather bitcoin price would increase to $3000.Bitcoin price is $2474 today and more chances are for it to increase.This price range is also due to some big whales dumping their huge volume of bitcoins as a last chance to make bitcoin price fall and buy cheap bitcoins before it skyrockets after august 1.
Of course not. I don't think that bitcoin is going down anytime soon because of a long-term trend of growth of this industry.

If from July 20-July 28 the price of bitcoin will be on dip and it is slowly moving upward. We can expect the price of bitcoin can be back at $2,500 there's going to be another one thing that we need to wait, once the chain split isn't going to happen anymore. For sure there are a lot of buyers that will buy volumes of bitcoin for the believe price will become higher.

Nah it won't happen. Look at the prices now, it is recovering. What happen was a temporary drop in prices and now people started buying when they saw everyone panicking and started selling. We'll likely even see another all time high even before August 1 from what it looks like right now. Though after August 1, I don't still think it will drop as I don't think there would really be a fork that time.

A set back for a few month really, unfortunately they are serious about the fork and they'll feel the damage to their own business later, but regardless of their intentions price has to crash down in order for market to balance and compensate for the doubled amount of bitcoins, good thing that when they split they'll pump their coin hard to show some strength and that's when we could benefit by dumping our coins on them

No!, I don't think it down to below 1000$, because as you can see now the price of value of bitcoin so far in getting higher now.And I know the bitcoin community won't allow it to be happen for sure.

I can't see Bitcoin going to 1k USD or less. We might see a cheap forked version of Bitcoin that might bring around a new group of speculators but I doubt it will affect the main Bitcoin price too much anymore. People know Bitcoin and Altcoins are here to stay for the foreseeable future.

Nope, $1000 is too much dude. I think it's around $2000 or even more per bitcoin, actually the price of bitcoin already increase again though. I guess the bitcoins price will decrease again soon when it close to 1st August.

Well actually it's not possible that in the month of August , the bitcoin will fall but then it will not fall that much. it won't fall that much but it will be closer on that range. bitcoin we all expecting that the price of it will fall because of august 1st and many people would sell their bitcoin before that date because they're afraid on what will happen on their bitcoin they're just being aware of what could possibly happen between the chain split and other operation will be done on that day so be alert and stay updated on the news .

First, this is a clear speculation type thread. Kindly place it to where it belongs.
We will encounter some decrease the closer we get to the said date. A harsh drop may also occur when the hard fork will be confirmed since it will trigger fear to some people out there. On the last week of July, we will see that Bitcoin will drop again but I do not think that it will fall under the 1000 dollar mark. 1500 dollar will not be surprising for me.
1400-1700 levels are possible at the least possible points taken into consideration that if panic sells take place, else it won't be coming down under $2k again and I really feel that there's no reason for us to panic like this but to wait, because this is nothing too drastic to be experienced as we already had such wavy rides before.

Well, you cannot compare the bitcoin price from the last year, because bitcoin price in the last year was less than 1000$ and it find it difficult to cross even 1000$ in 2016. It is this year it rise to 3x of the price and almost touch the all time high near to 3000$. Now again we are experiencing a selling pressure but price is still not down as much.

No, it is too low price, I know that bitcoin come back, but it is a least price of bitcoin $1000.Now today bitcoin has again maintain its price and come up at $2017. Then i think now people has face the fear of bitcoin price downing. And now day by day bitcoin will be come up. But if next week bitcoin will again down than the least price will be $1500 in my thinking.

Never fall for such disappointment that early. Prices of Bitcoin are nothing but prey to speculations and rumors. That's the reason why you can see $200-500 fluctuations everyday. So if we see the possibility of UASF activation then prices can drastically go very up or down even below $1000 but sooner or later will recover. But if present Bitcoin continues which I suppose will gonna happen, prices will rebuild to $3000 or more through market recovery as we seen in last 24 hours.

It is hard to predict the exact price. I think the fall is going to continue but i don't think there will be a dramatic fall. i am not expecting under $1000. $1000 is it possible? Of course possible but the probability is not high. After 1 August (maybe after 1-2 weeks) everything is going to be balanced until hard fork speculations.
The only way I see the price collapsing that hard is if not just one, but several major exchanges suspend withdrawals in fiat without a well-articulated timeline for its swift restoration. Short of that, there's just too much existing investment in the infrastructure of BitCoin for the major players to watch the price go so low without swooping in with massive buys to buoy the market.

Anything is possible. We still have 2 weeks to go before the Segwit2x activation and you will see that bitcoin has crash to below $1900. But for me personally, I don't think that bitcoin can really go down below $1000. The floor price that bitcoin can go is $1500. I believed that since bitcoin has the full backing of a country right now, the price will not go further than that. Look at the current price. It seems to be recovering after a 2-3 days of dipping. So the price could fall prior to Aug 1, but I don't think it will go sub $1000.

Although I dont think BTC would fall below $1000 right now, it isnt really that impossible. Think of the situation when, on August, BTC does fall to $1500. Its at that time when we start thinking its possible.

People don't know about what will happen in august,it's activated or not,everybody hesitate to take action because it's suicide if they sell it now and when august come segwit activate,doesn't that mean they're lossing when they can profiting instead ? So they will make a move between 1 august,because near that point we can hear some rumour or leak about bitcoin development.
Note : We might can not see 1000$ in coming days,but based on chart we can see Bitcoin around 1500~1800$ in the next few days or so
