Prices are down big time recently.

They'll continue to fall as the market is flooded with used equipment.

ASIC's are just around the corner.

Edit: Just realized you are in Canada.
They love to fuck us here with prices, it's about an hour and half hop to the border!
I was in the states last weekend, and couldn't find any 280's (mind you I was in Detroit)

I have been mining since early Nov, Starting with bitcoin and then moving onto litecoin and some alts to trade for BTC/LTC

When i started my rig ended up getting 3 r9 280x MSI for roughly ~1000 a little less.
Tigerdirect has just sent out their "sale" flyer through e-mail and the price of the same GPU is now ~449.99 (thats with $54 off..)

The point and question at hand is anyone actually purchasing at these prices..?
Wanted to upgrade to 6 cards from the current 4 I have(bought one with BTC) but doesn't look like ill be doing that anytime soon.
