Same as the official release. Either use the debug console to enable mining or set up your .conf file to do so with gen=1.
Do I just have to download them and they will work?
Lots of builds to try here, just be safe and encrypt your wallet/virus scan/run in a VM/etc.

Is there a working release that I don't have to compile ( so I just download it)and works on windows? I really want to try the new ones since as i see they give you better performance.
