Thank for the reply, I was afraid that this was a giveaway only forum!

Code:
./primeminer -poolip=54.251.179.44 -poolport=1337 -pooluser= -poolpassword=PASSWORD -genproclimit=2

I am in Asia, and I use my actual Primecoin address without the arrows (just too lazy to open it up right now).

Thanks again.

Could you tell us, what commands you are using to mine the primecoin? Maybe we might spot something.  Smiley

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking for quite sometime.

Anyways, I wanted to test out the waters of some alt coins. I have been doing a bit of Philosopherstone and Dogecoin recently. I decided to try out Primecoin on DigitalOcean. I followed this guide:

http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2013/12/04/primecoin-cloud-mining-using-digital-ocean-complete-guide/

Seemed simple enough, and I had the dependencies thanks to Dogecoin mining on DigitalOcean. However, when I get to the last command (to start mining), nothing happens... The console just accepts the command and waits for another??? I retried it several times, changing the order of the primeminer commands, the port, the IP address, the password, and still it does nothing.

I also tried this guide for good measure:

http://techupdates.com/go/643377#

It seems pretty good since it will auto restart after any crash, however, I just get a ENOEXEC error when I type in the "tail" command, and then the console gets stuck!

If anyone could give me any suggestions or advice it would be much appreciated. If it helps, I am using Debian 7 x64 with the cheaper of the 2-core options. Thanks!
