Well some idea is to use hash of bitcoin block .
So to play pvp u post challenge , somebody accepts it , and then u have to wait for next block to be mined for challenge to go though .

Not the best way to do it but so far i think its only possible idea.

They might come up with something better . We will see.

U will recive notification on chat when semebody challanges u. U can click on it to acept or just ignore it. And if somebody spams u with challanges u can just ignore them with /ignore command and u wont get any notifications from them.

Yeah there is no house edge on pvp. And all pvp matches over .001 btc are shown on pvp chat, by bot pvp highrollers.

We're 100% aware of this currently.

PvP is currently in BETA stage. We're seeing the response we get.

There's soon to be a "Non instant" mode whereby your duel goes to "Pending". It will remain in this state until the next block comes in. When this block comes in the rolls are created using each users seeds & the block hash. Both players seeds will be revealed before this happens.

It will either be that method, or using another 3rd party output to add another level of randomness to the rolls, any ideas?

If you are using safari/IE that could be the issue.

Nope, I'm using google chrome. On a very old computer though, that may be the problem (getting a new comp soon).

The thing is, when i tried it yesterday (right after launch) it worked fine. :-/

It works just fine for me. You could always try a force reload (CTRL-F5). I hope that helps.

Try if refresh page will help. Most of the issues are caused by sockets still not functioning properly . Dev is pretty sure he will be able to finally get to the bottom of it tomorrow.

I tried organizing a pvp match with another user on primedice, after both of us challenging eacother a couple of times each we came to the conclusion our challenges weren't being displayed to the other person. Hope this can get fixed soon, I really love pvp and want to get back into it!

its really simple! :)also a little luck is needed

Its only about luck pure and simple like coinflip

yes there is luck at begging but if you carefull analyse
every high pvp roller you can win easily
for example if you lose 3 or 4 times in a row and the next guy you want to play already won 2 times

your chance of winning is 90%

Nope , that is not correct. Ur chance is 50% every time u play it. Even if u lost 100 times in a row before that, ur chance is still 50% on the next one.

Dice , nor pvp seed doesn't remember ur previous roll , and it doesn't care if u lost 1000 times in a row, that still doesn't improve ur chance of winning next one
