I've seen a lot regarding pooling vs solo mining (I've been lurking for a while) and I've come to wonder if anyone has considered creating private pools of anywhere from 5-25 people or so. It contains the benefits of both solo mining (larger total payouts, low/zero fees) and pooling (relatively consistent payout, ability to mine with a low hash rate). If not, it could be something worth looking into, as there are several miners here that I'm sure would love to work more directly with each other.
