an interrupted download is the biggest worry.. perhaps a confirm button could address that?
I wouldn't press it. I would just close the tab after I clicked the download button and it started downloading.

I wonder, when do you delete the file? When the download link is clicked? But that would mean the file would be deleted and is not downloadable anymore. Or do you delete it like the next day and make the page inaccessible?

I delete it immediately after the connection is closed. Then the file is overwritten and deleted.

Great site but what if someone tries to download and his net connection gets dropped or somehow download stucks at 40-50%

I guess sender needs to be sure to have that file to send it again or probably give 2 download links.
