Similarities in projects are commonplace, sometimes it's just a development of an existing project, so be careful when buying coins, see the clarity of the project's goals and team.

You always have a chance to just ignore these two projects. Just make the right conclusions. Both sites live no more than a month, just like their social networks. Tell me, if the project has been developed for so long, is all advertising done so quickly? Where is the story? Buying a template and spanking such sites is as easy as shelling pears. No project should be considered legitimate until there is a deposit of funds.
Therefore, everything is your will, and in case of failure, you will only need to blame yourself.
By the way, pay attention to the clarification of the manager. He disclaims responsibility, and will also check several times, that is, even he is not sure that everything will go well.

Two bounty campaigns are ongoing right now and I'm kinda suspicious about them because the website designs looks so identical and there is no teams information available either, what do you think ?

https://Burst.money and https://mocktail.finance

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounty-mocktailswap-the-worlds-first-semi-fungible-token-on-bsc-sft-5327223

IMO, I think you have a point, but sometimes projects are using the same design of templates so let us considered that also, by the way, you mentioned that the team of those project is unknown or anonymous for me that was suspicious already and I think you should not invest or buy its token because the risk is high and all of that reasons were based on my personal experiences and whatever the reason why they are hiding their true identity for me still it was unacceptable.

Welcome to altcoins projects and bounty programs.

Here is how the majority of them do it. They just hire a team that can do erc20 tokens, and they have the same package of codes for websites, for whitepaper, for teams. Change the name of project and mix some things up but retain the same template. Costs maybe $100 to do, and they hope for one investor to put in a few hundred dollars and you already make profit.

Avoid.

Yeah, same way many good project where born, I can understand sometimes some of this project teams can be too selfish or lazy to cross a website design work for their project,  this in some cases don't mean the project are run by same team or are up to no good,
There are several projects which people have tag as scam because of lookalike site and copy paste team photo but still managed to maintain their status.

Not a problem for me, templates can look almost the same thing and it doesn't mean the team build the two projects and they plan to scam, the fact is most defi projects today have no team visibility available on their websites, the choice is your and that mocktail swap looks interesting to me

Too early to say, one maybe a scam project but there are some instances that both of them are scam so its a must to do your own research, and listen as well to this forum as many will share the difference between this two.

As far as I can see, one is being managed by a newbie and the other is being managed by the good manager, maybe this kind of transaction is happening in the bounty campaign, we'll see and hopefully those managers will see this thread and share their thoughts.

Nowadays, we can easily look the suspicious doings here in crypto community but somehow it needs more time in detail as we concluded that it is a scam. As time passed by many investors try their best to be more observant to avoid a scammer user here in crypto community. Also, we must be attentive all the the time since many scammers and spam website that can caught the attention of many here.

There are some projects with the same team, but since they didn't declare it maybe they are not related at all and there's a lot of many identical website design before so this should not be your only basis. Beside, the Burst campaign is being handle by one of the best manager so I think he knows best with this projects, nevertheless we should have our own research with regards to this projects before you participate, they didn't force you to join anyway so do your part.

Anyway, after seeing BURST. I remember this project about burst, where you could mine using HDD etc. I don't think it is related but having the same ticker would be a problem.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/burst/
This is the problem of many project, there's a lot of project with the same Ticker and hoping that people will not get confused dealing with those projects, and this should not affect the project itself.

Do not join nor invest if there are red flags for you. It is very easy to make project these times but you will never know if they are serious or not with what they have.

Anyway, after seeing BURST. I remember this project about burst, where you could mine using HDD etc. I don't think it is related but having the same ticker would be a problem.

I remember burst coin too but this is not really them.

Very good observation. I am on the side of the OP that the team are likely to be similar, the duration of both campaign is 60 days, the only difference is that Mocktail has applied for Certik audit which to me is not out yet. People are saying do not invest is you are not sure about the project but there is nothing wrong in raising this red flag and make people to scrutinize the project better

I think a topic like this is better suited for a Reputation or Scam Accusations board.

There is nothing wrong with opening a debate on legitimacy or doubts about certain projects, I just think that it is better to do it in the sections of the forum that are intended for that purpose.

Most of defi project team are anonymous, you won't even find the team behind pancakeswap, the most popular swap platform in binance smart chain.

I see mocktail is going to be audit by Certik. And also money burst, they already have a working product https://burst.money/app/
For both burst money and mocktail finance, I can everything is okay but you have to do your own research if you plan to put some money on their token sale.

even if they are im not gonna be surprised  Roll Eyes but one thing you must remember about dapps in Binance Smart Chain is that so many of them did exit scam in the past not to mention if the project didnt try to reveal their identity like that
and its not the first time i have seen dapps or defi project with similar web design, just be very careful with projects like these  Wink

The website model is almost the same and even very precise, but if you want to see the team, you can go directly to their telegram channel even though it's not neatly arranged but I'm sure the admin in the telegram channel will tell you who the project team is.
pretty sure project like these gonna mask their devs id using aliases.

they could be buying from the same web developer who already have their own established design pattern, library or framework but to find out whether they are the same people behind the project you need to get deep into their project and find some information, however if you feel reluctant or in doubt just avoid, better safe than sorry I guess, not to mention these kind of defi projects are like money grubbing nowadays, not to mention BSC where many rugpulls happen.

If you are having doubts about the project, then don't invest in it. If you have a lot of money that you can spare, then risk what you can afford to lose, but if not, then I believe you are not going anywhere with the possible "scam" project.

Projects very often use standard site templates, but this does not give a reason to call them cheaters.
All defi projects are similar because they offer pharming and staking.
Investing in these projects is very risky, so I never buy their tokens.
The only plus of these projects is that they work on the Binance smartchain and you will not have problems with commissions.
