I just finished my RX480 build.

I run Windows 10 and i have five cards installed, one more arriving tomorrow.
I run the 16.7.3 driver.

I have tried a crapload of miners now and if it does not crash right away it will go in slowmotion until it does later on.

What miner are you guys running with the RX 480 cards ?

Have you tried reinstalling drivers

Has anyone successfully used h81 pro btc r2.0 + windows 10 + 6 rx 480?

I can't make it to work with windows 7, even after the 6 gpu mod.

Any thoughts if windows 10 can solve the issue?

Primarily using this MB for 6 GPU rigs with Win 10 since last year. No issues so far.

Thanks! I'll upgrade my OS.

To the guy who is crashing in Windows without mining, your issue is with your risers, use ver003 or 006 risers, or get new ones.

What miner are you guys running with the RX 480 cards ?

did you do claymore?  did you try with four cards?

do that.

also
what is your mobo?
what is your cpu?
what is your psu?
what is your ram?
I tried the Claymore miner but i could not get it to work when i added my own stuff in the batch file. With the original batch file included with the miner it started up without problems.

I did not try with four cards, i dont think that is the problem.

I use the same hw in all my rigs:

Asrock H81 Pro BTC
Dual core Celeron
Powered USB risers
Silverstone Strider 1200w psu
4gb DDR3

I have the virtual memory set at 16GB

bad batch file  I am going out to dinner I will be home in 3 hours or so.. maybe some one can help before I return.

try claymore on ethpool  with 4 cards  16.7.2 drivers

and use this for your bat file.
if it works try with   your address instead of mine

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0x71e017514b3338988f0c080b917749ed218b64d0.rigcryptoTEST

did this work for you? I just built a rig with 6 rx 480s cant even run windows without crashing help

Did you try what Philip suggested? There are a lot of possibilities a miner crashed, from my experienced i forgot to set my virtual mem into 16gb.. otherwise check other suggested options.
