As Steamtyme said, post the API log here so we can see what is happening. Use the code button # to do it. Usually we only need from the top of the log to just after the block of text for the AUC stats.

Make sure that both the console and miner firmware are the same version (date) as the 921's can be picky about that.
As for the controller, it must NOT be a RasPi 3+, only the 1B, 2B and 3B are supported.

Hi can you post a screenshot of the Miner status page, just the link using imgur or similar site. You might also want to copy the API log to dig a little further.
Additional useful information would be how long have you left the miner running? Have you tried restarting the Miner? Is it new or used?

Never had experience about this miner but let me try to help you.

Here's my own solution that I know might fix this issue.

- Reflash your controller (Raspberry Pis) with the correct firmware. You can find the procedure here including firmware click me

- Possible the miner is full of dust. Disassembly the miner and clean all boards and terminals from fan to board might solve the issue. Don't do this if your miner still under warranty.

Hello,

I have an Avalon 921 and have set up a pool, but the problem I am having is that in the Avalon Dashboard, the temperature and fan show -- and have no numbers. Everything else appears to be working, I can hear the fan running. I see that the CGMiner API log looks normal and is connected to the pool, I can see the Stratum Difficulty and load on the machine. What does this show is wrong with the unit, is there a problem with the console 921 itself, is it a problem with the Avalon controller, or is it the AUC3, the Temperature and Fan show -- and have no numbers or rpm or anything implying the temperature or fan speed.
