Isn't gurnec's project abandoned? I'm not sure if it'd be enough for him to recover it via brute forcing, but I ought to share the updated version: https://github.com/3rdIteration/btcrecover

Abandoned, but still usable if you know how to setup the requirement (e.g. Python 2) and plan to recover old wallet. But there's no point of using it since @3rdIteration version is more up-to-date and have more features with better documentation.

I had put a withdraw password for it and I have forgotten it ,is there any way to recover the password??
You can't have really forgotten the whole password. Not even a part of it or how it's like? Trying to remember the least can save you lot of time in brute forcing. So, no; except brute forcing (which isn't a practical solution) there isn't a way to recover that password.

No ,I don't remember the password ,and I didn't make back up file
By the way, I have access to my wallet ,I have forgotten withdraw password, isn't bruteforce for the wallet password??
With that, even Dave wont accept the job;
You can try to bruteforce it yourself but I'll tell you that the odds of getting the correct password with random/sequential characters is extremely low even if you have a super computer.
It's important that you at least know some possible words/characters in the password.

Important Note: please do not entertain any PMs that offering "help" who'll ask for your wallet.dat file, there are lots of scammers doing that.
Stop buying wallet.dat files!

You can bruteforce the wallet there is a tool that you can use to bruteforce it but it will take long or may take years if you don't remember some parts of your password.

You can find the guide and tool from this link below
- https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover

Why not hire someone instead and follow what was suggested above(nc50lc post)?

Any chance you made a backup of wallet.dat before you set the password?

Do you have any idea of what the password might be?
If no, forget it, it's not possible to "bruteforce" it with random characters or words unless it only consists of very small number of characters.

If yes, and you don't have the resources to bruteforce like GPU or a fast CPU,
you should consider contacting Dave:
