I am sorry to derail the thread but this this is the most recent active thread on this subsection of the forum. My problem is with unverified transaction in which I have tried every means I can lay my hands on by searching through the forum as well as using Google which seems unabated. I use mobile wallet of electrum the apk version (not the one downloaded on playstore) but in recent times I have been having sever lagging behind by several thousands block then all those transactions that have been confirmed, turned to Unverified. Any help would be appreciated.

Does this mean, I will have to correct this "bug" myself, provided it is one, of course?

We are trying to help but we can't do that if you don't answer the questions you are asked. I asked you about the seed above. It consists of between 12 and 25 random English words that are shown during the wallet creation process and you are supposed to put it down on paper. Do you have it? If so do a restore using seed. Start with file menu > new/restore, enter a filename for your new wallet file and click next.

Did your Google authenticator ever work with Electrum 2FA? As in, did it just stop working? Or has it never worked?

Perhaps try contacting TrustedCoin support and see if they can help... They're usually fairly responsive... And the 2FA wallet is using their system to process the Google authenticator codes

no it's open source software and support is only by the community.

do you have the seed written down? If so you can restore your wallet using it. Start with file > new/restore.

Thanks. I did as you said, but the authenticator reported that the time was already in sync. Consequently nothing changed and Electrum still doesn't accept my request. Do you know of any support by Electrum itself?

Make sure that your phone date/time is correct. It sounds like it might be out of sync. Google Authenicator should have a "resync" option:

Open the Google authenticator app
* Click the menu button of your phone
* Choose settings
* Choose Time correction for codes
* Choose Sync now

The app should now sync it's time with the Google servers instead of your phones internal clock.

Electrum is requesting a google authenticator code for signing a send transaction but none of the codes generated are accepted. Instead it displays a message "invalid otp". Thanks foe any idea.
