The last block was found over one hour ago. Isn't 1 block mean't to be generated every 10 minutes? this is getting very annoying as i have a large transaction stuck on the blockchain.
1 block confirmation can sometimes take 10-40 minutes. So you should always expect that delay and send.

Patience is a virtue. You need to understand that the 10 minute block time is only an average. No it would not be better to decrease the block time as that would make each block much less secure and overall less security for the network

just checked a couple of other block explorers and its showing the same thing
