Since this appears to be a Linux distro (derived from Debian) you can just download the AppImage from the electrum download page which is designed for use in obscure operating systems which may or may not have Electrum in their package manager, or have an old version.

Although since your OS tracks updates from Debian "Testing" you will usually not get the latest Electrum until say after a few weeks or months.

Hi I recently got Electrum and created a walllet. However, I only have version Electrum 4.0.9 and I can't update it to 4.1.5.
I know, sounds stupid but I really need help.

 I have Parrot OS 4.11

Most of these problems are that parts of the old Electrum app are working in the backgroud and thus preventing the update, deleting all data (even temporary files) and restarting the device will solve the problem.
Make sure you keep the seed in a safe place before deleting all files.

I see from your other thread that you are having trouble opening your wallet files.  I suggest you stick with one topic, it'll keep all the progress in one place, and suggestions pertinent.

I've never had any exposure to Parrot OS, but it's a Debian release so you should be able to run Electrum.  Did you try installing Electrum from the command line, or did you download the app image?

Never heard of this OS before but it seems a Linux OS?

Do you have a backup seed of your wallet? If no then make a backup right now before you update anything from your wallet.

Since it's Linux did you already tried the command under Linux from https://electrum.org/#download

If you get an error to one of the commands on Linux, update and post it here so that we know the issue.
