Hi, I don't know where else to go but here to bring attention to this. I have a wallet on this website called cryptomerchantbank.co.
Who in their right minds will ever trust a website with that domain with 1 BTC? Man, why the fuck would you create a wallet on a website that is not remotely associated with good crypto wallets? Like they're not even ranked on the google pages. Sorry for your loss, next time do better research on what websites to be trusted.

Hi, I don't know where else to go but here to bring attention to this. I have a wallet on this website called cryptomerchantbank.co. I have close to 1 btc there and I tried to withdraw it, but it wouldn't let me withdraw. It just gave me the withdraw confirmation screen and nothing happened afterwards. Nothing was deducted from my wallet. I tried submitting a support ticket but Im not even sure if it went through since it just said submitted and nothing more and I can't check the status of it. I don't know who I should contact to try to fix this and get my money out. Can anyone help my situation?

Edit: The email that they have on the website as well does not work

did you solve your issue with cryptomerchantbank.co, am a victim too.if you did get your bitcoins back please share how?

The only thing you can do is report your case to the police, but it will depend on how much you had on that site. Imagine that you had something like 0.005 BTC stuck on this site, I think it would not be worth reporting in the police because you would have many expenses with the whole process.

Unfortunately, you did get scammed big time.

I'd say that your friend who gave you the URL of this site, as Potato Chips suggested, is definitely a part of the people that is behind this fake wallet and/or a promoter of this site. Might even be his full time job to lure people into using this service.

But I'll tell you this, the vast majority of random BTC wallets that you find are complete and utter scams. Stick to the trusted ones that allow you control over your own BTC in the form of private keys, like Electrum. Don't trust random sites that people recommend to you without researching first. It's essentially sending BTC to random people and expecting them to hold it for you safely if you opt to trust in these scam sites blindly.

We've actually seen another person get scammed by the same site in the past few days as well. I really wonder if this is happening on a large scale with this particular site, and what methods they are doing it by.

Can I ask how did you guys come across to this unknown wallet? cause If you googled "bitcoin wallet" only the peer reviewed ones will show up.
My friend hooked me up with it, guess I just ended up getting fucked.

There's a huge possibility that this person is a part of its team. By friend, is it someone you know IRL or someone over the internet?

Think about it, there must be a motive on why they referred it to you and there's no way its because they are satisfied with their service since so far I don't see anything that could prove its legit. SO there's only one left which is, they tried to lure you on their site to take away the money you deposited.

Unless of course if there's some referral bonus going on everytime you refer someone and they are also getting fooled by it. But the thing is, I don't see anything like that on the site. Did they ask you to register using a referral link or enter a code/their username when you register?
