Hello,

I have built 4 miners with MSI 7950s and have been running them for a few months now.  I just bought some R9 290s and would like to get them going.  I tried this config file with just one card and it was no luck.    I am also trying to put these cards on a new miner with a fresh load of windows.  No other miner has ever been used on this so its not a driver conflict issue with a previous card.

cgminer starts but says OFF where its supposed to have how fast the card is running.

I installed the driver thats on the disk it came with because since its a relatively new card, I figured that would be fine.  It recognizes it as an R9 290 in the device mgr.  Ive only tried it with one card and I have a monitor plugged into it so its not a dummy card issue.  The PS Im using is a 1250 watt PS.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!!

Oh yea I also ran this on a CMD line and rebooted.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

I always install the AMD-APP-SDK on fresh builds as the driver only did not work well on my rigs win 7 x86/x64
