It's a known issue. Just give it half an hour to couple of hours. The avatar will reflect. There are nothing to worry at all.

Today there was a problem with using an animated avatars (not a .GIF). A new avatar in .PNG format is correctly displayed in the avatar update window, but the avatar remains the same. Has anyone else encountered this problem yesterday, today? A few days ago there was no such problem. Can someone check it out? (for the test, you can use any animated avatar that is already used by someone)
