In my area, there are already few small scale factories which are producing face mask in large quantities. With every passing day, People are not interested in wearing mask and also covid-19 is also being developed/used on some parts of the world.

Do you think it will be a good idea to setup the mask production unit at this time when the demand for mask is on the decline ?

All the chain stores around here from small to large are full of all the possible facemasks, from fpp2 to kn95 and the prices have gone down a lot since the start of the pandemic, even n95 maks have dropped from5-10 euros apiece to less than 75 Eurocents here, and all the shelves are full, probably just the merchandise in stores is enough for 3 months.
Besides, since all the fakes that have come things have got a lot trickier, you need a lot of authorizations and nobody is going to risk selling your stuff with it.

Just sell your facemask online since there are open platforms like aliexpress,amazon and ebay where you can sell those thins, and you don't need a partner or investor for this since the operation will need a big capital. Also there's no one gonna buy this kind of offer since imagine the type of business you offer here and people will get skeptical about that.

But if you really need funds a friend of yours maybe can help since I'm sure foreign funding is impossible to get since many are afraid to get scam again.

People were afraid when covid was literally new but they started to accept it and live with it by day to day life. You should have acted earlier itself which was most profitable upto 3rd quarter of 2020.

the key time is from now to next May. the cold weather enhances covid-19 activity. the market needs more face mask.

We have a local printer shop that switched business due to the pandemic and is only creating fask masks right now. He uses only local Art or funny jokes for his masks to make them unique. It's quite funny how many people have these masks. He is definitely doing good and it's a great way to support a local business.
