I have already seen several soccer teams, that partnered with blockchain companies and created their own token for tickets purchase, official club items and access to public events. It would last for few more years until there would be EPL coins and other major leagues.

Sport Lisboa and Benfica (aka "SL Benfica", aka "SLB", aka "Benfica") are partnering with UTRUST's crypto payment processor. SLB became the first major European soccer team to allow fans to pay for tickets and trade them with crypto. SLB is the most popular and most popular sports club in Portugal.

On July 12, 2019, the Litecoin Foundation announced that Litecoin (LTC) had become the Official Dolphins Miami Crypto Currency. This collaboration, which will be launched at the start of the 2019 National Football League (NFL) season, will give Litecoin the ability to enter one of the largest and most vibrant NFL fan bases through branding and in-game advertising opportunities at Hard Rock Stadium, as well as inclusion in various online properties team and digital content.

The press release also mentioned that the Miami Dolphins, Litecoin Foundation, and Aliant Payments (payment processors based in Florida) joined to give participants the game "the ability to play at home with Litecoin and Bitcoin" when buying tickets. Half of the proceeds will go to the Miami Dolphins Foundation and their charity destinations.
