If you don't mind me asking, why would you say ghash.io is the worst? OP says he's got roughly 1.14th/s and is only getting .09 per day with his pool and I have about 760 gh/s on ghash.io and i'm getting about the same per day.
I've mined several pools with S1 and ghash.io was the worst of them all by far in terms of mined bitcoins/day. The site displays the full GHash Speed, but the reward is as poor as OP's. Maybe it's an Antminer S1 specific problem or some special ghash.io option?

It may have just been a slow time with finding blocks for ghash.io at that time. I'm having nothing but great experience with this pool, but i'm sure sometime in the future the pool will hit an unlucky time. I'm just hoping it's not anytime soon lol

Possible reasons: orphaned blocks, hardware errors, shitty pool (by far the worst: ghash.io)
Also your Antminer won't run at 100% hashing power all the time. Have you tried eligius.st yet?

I just switched to Ghash.io.  0% pool fee is an attractive bonus.  I'll see how this goes...

Why is it that the actual payout from mining pools seems to be 10% or more lower than the profit calculator figures per 24hrs?  I have 6 overclocked antminers that hashes at about 1.14 t/h combined and should pay .11 btc per 24hrs according to profit calculators but the actual payout is about .09 btc.  1.14 t/h is a low estimate since the actual range is about 1.12 to 1.25 t/h and I've tried mining on both Slush and BTC Guild with the same results.  I know both the pools take about 2-3% but that still doesn't account for the lowered actual payout of almost .01-.02 btc less.

Apart from the pool fee, you need to consider pool luck (unless it is PPS).

Take btcguild as an example, you can see the pool luck "Approximate Pool Luck* (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M / 3M / 6M): 74.672% / 87.213% / 91.073% / 88.529% / 89.729% / 97.153% / 100.551%" on the page https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=pplns.
