The general OC stability checking methods for GPUs are applicable for mining, too.

I use OCCT's GPU Stress Test to test the stability of my GPU with Shader Complexity set to the highest value, Frame rate limit disabled, and 2GB of VRAM stressed with Artifact/Error Checking, and this method has provided some of the most accurate results to date.

I had a HD 7950 that could do 1100/1500 with ease, and am currently stuck with one that can't go past 1070/1500.

I usually leave a little headroom for the longevity of the card, so 1050/1500 is my 24/7 OC.

But I understand that for miners, cards that aren't hashing are counter productive. So this may not be the go to method for everyone, and is just a suggestion.  Grin

same here ,
im looking for a script for monitoring / Oc card  individualy

im using zcash miner ,with watchdog script.

i overlocked my card ,but after a week 24/24  i got 1 crashing...
watchdog reboot minning script
but card crash again after some hours.... i have less OC it when i see this.
( pool monitoring talk )

im looking for script about this.

spying minning speed rate / card T° / OC
to slow down card  OC when crash ,or look for best minning speed rate

i have 7 card on a rig , and only one are slowers than other .....
that's why im looking for it...

The day is kind, the easiest way for testing video cards (from my experience) is to install and mine the coins with a low complexity during the day. I need a coin where there are no sharp fluctuations and the power is on the same level, I'm currently checking the scrypt/POW coins for  Kalkulus coin, and comparing the performance.

Since we already know each GPU is unique and won't OC the same way etc...

I'm wondering if there's a way to testing GPUs without overclocking them 1 by 1.

I was already messing around with ASIC quality from GPU-Z but it doesn't seem to be accurate (at least when it comes to mining).
