I ended up being contacted by a person that needs some work done that I feel confident won't flake on me and the project is fun.

Thank you to everyone who replied and viewed this thread.

You could show a example of things that you can do......  A link maybe to a Website or be more especific, but it is only my opinion......

Fair enough. If someone is interested I'll be happy to show them work I've done and a link to my oDesk / Upwork profile.

As far as compensation and escrow. I would like funds put in escrow and once the work is completed and considered acceptable the funds should be released.
It never even crossed my mind that escrow wouldn't be used.

Also the project doesn't have to be for the full .6 BTC. I'm willing to take on smaller projects for less BTC, but that's my target amount and will stop taking BTC
projects once that goal is hit.

Portfolio? Previous Work Examples?

If you have none I doubt people will pay that much.

Also would be a good idea to lay out some terms... Like producing the work first while funds are with escrow or such. Really as you are new-ish here its hard to trust you without something.

Best of luck!

Hello,

I'm a programmer that is proficient in several programming languages (PHP, Javascript, Java, and C++) and I'm wanting to trade my services for .6 BTC.
If you have something you'd like worked on feel free to contact me.

Thank You,
