- the user can fill in the initial profile of the project and receive recommendations from the experts of the Descrow team on how to package the project effectively and how to optimize a crowdfunding campaign in order to raise more funds;
- the user gets the opportunity to conclude investment agreements with a pool of strategic / anchor investors from a closed list of the platform (on an individual request);
- the user places a detailed step-by-step description of the project Roadmap. Refinement of the platform and the launch of the new Descrow services.The technical solutions that existed at the time of designing Descrow were not suitable for the full implementation of the functionality incorporated into the decentralized escrow platform. For that reason we decided to create our own infrastructure, our own high-performance and reliable distributed ledger protocol (blockchain protocol) to ensure stable operation of the platform after integration with various services.
As a result of the work being carried out by our development team, the Descrow platform’s functionality will be expanded in the coming months with the variety of services such as:
1) automated escrow accounts with the possibility of reserving funds invested into projects, with the support of not only the main cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, LTC), but also stable coins (to manage the risks of the volatility of cryptocurrency quotes) and fiat currencies (US dollar, euro, ruble etc.);

To do this, click the “Find expert” button in the left part of menu. You will proceed to the page of cooperation between project teams and experts.




To start a search, go to the “I’m looking for” tab and click on the “Search for a new specialist” button. Than describe your conditions for a specialist: professional field, tasks, period, terms and salary, write down the requirements and duties of a specialist. If you want, fill out the “comment” field with additional details of the working tasks.






After clicking on the “submit an application” button, it will be displayed in the general list of the job or task offers. Note that after the placement, there would be no possibility of editing the information.
Your application will be sent to experts with suitable competences. The list of experts interested in your proposal is displayed on the corresponding tab.
By clicking on the “more details” button you could see a summary of a specialist, the list of projects he or she worked with on the Descrow platform, and his or her comment on your proposal. Also you can find more information in a “specialist card” and read reviews about his or her work left by other ICO start-ups on the platform.

    Section “STARTUP”


On the main page of the section you can see the widgets that allow you to monitor important information related to your project: voting results, questions of the users, referral statistics.






As you can see, new items appear in the left menu compared to section “Investor” — “My projects” and “Find an expert”. The “Referral program” page also differs from that in the Investor section. It allows you to set voluntary referral rate for your ICO start-up in order to attract new investors to the project.

The “My Projects” page displays a list of your completed and current projects on the platform.
In “Project management” page you will be able to do all basic actions on the platform: quickly change the referral rate, download a report, see the results of voting or fees statistics, check with the road map and, if necessary, make changes to it.





The button “change information” leads to the page where you can change or supplement the data about your project: add tags, format a full description (including the ability to add graphic elements), correct the list of media files and add extended information about team members (including their photos).







Project Roadmap

A necessary condition for the publication of the ICO project on the Descrow platform is filling out the Roadmap section.
Roadmap is an integral part of strategic planning: it allows you set specific goals for the development of your business and monitor the progress of the tasks implementation. Also, the roadmap allows investors get more complete information about your project, its main stages and deadlines for them. The roadmap serves as an indicator of the quality and reliability of your project, so we advise you to consider its completion seriously
To fill it out, go to “project management” and click on the “fill in” button in the “roadmap” panel.
Add the required number of stages of project development and enter the number of days required for implementation of each stage. Than add a description of the aims you plan to achieve during the stages as well as the percentage of the total funds required for particular stages.






The minimum number of project stages is three.
Keep in mind that during the ICO campaign you will be able to make changes to the roadmap of the project no more than once per stage. Also these changes are levied by a commission paid in DES tokens which amount could depend on the amount of the funds raised, on the course of the project implementation, on the roadmap changes already made in the past and other parameters important for the project success. Also, total period of the stages postponements can’t be more than 6 months. So we strongly advise you to choose the optimal periods of the stages implementation in advance, to consider your capabilities adequately and to make every effort to implement the project.

Creation of ICO Smart Contract
ICO can’t be run without a smart contract.
A smart contract is a computer program algorithm that ensures the reliability of bargains and financial transactions. He acts as an intermediary in the information and money transfer and an arbitrator that controls compliance of the agreement terms by the parties. Usage of smart contract gives many advantages. The parties are guaranteed to have and independent arbitrator while subjective factors are eliminated. Smart contract reduces the costs of implementing the contract (costs of services provided by the third parties) and minimizes the risks of wrong interpretation of contract’s terms. Moreover smart contract guarantees reliability of exchange of values and security of transactions.
All of the above factors form investor’s confidence that particularly important in the ICO process. In particular, if the minimum amount of investment in ICO (the so-called softcap) is not reached, the smart contract automatically returns all the funds to investors, since in this case it is assumed that the project does not have enough funds for successful implementation. On the other hand, if the maximum amount of funds raised (the so-called “hardcap”) is reached, the ICO smart contract automatically stops the investing process, since too much investments could dilute the value of the tokens of the ICO project that investors receive in exchange for their investments.
In Smart Contract section you can specify the main terms of your project: organizational, financial and other.To create a smart contract go to “Project management” and click on the “Create” button in the “Project Smart Contract “ panel.
Fill in the name and an abbreviation of your token, the number of token decimals, the percentage of tokens intended for the project team.
Specify the cost of selling each token in dollar terms, as well as the start and the end dates of the ICO.
Make sure that all items are filled in correctly because after creating a smart contract of an ICO campaign, you can’t change it anymore.

If you want to run an ICO project on the Descrow platform, go to the mode “Startup” using the mode menu on the top left side and click “add your startup

                             



You will go to the page of the startup questionnaire. Before you proceed to the next step, we strongly advise to watch the video presented at the zero stage. In this video we tried to tell shortly about the main problems you may face during ICO and the ways to solve those problems. After watching the video, click “Next” to proceed to the project form.


                             



Fill out the basic information about your project, the list of team the members and advisers. Later you can complete the description of the project with graphic elements and upload photos of the team members.
Attach the basic startup documents (such as White Paper) and provide links to your website and video presentation, if any. Finally, enter your contact details and click “register”

Your application will be submitted for review, you will be notified about the results of review by a personal message and by e-mail. After review you will be granted access to the section with the startup functions on the platform.

   Development and testing of Descrow Platform continue.

                   

We are pleased to announce that the Descrow platform development is progressing well, and public testing will soon be launched. However, the development of an IT product of this level of complexity is often accompanied by a number of difficulties that our team also had to face. During the closed internal testing a number of flaws in software logic were identified and arrangements of the next stage of works would require more time than it was planned. In order to correct and finalize the Platform as soon as possible we have changed the developers team employing new members, what enable us to cope with the main complications in the shortest time.
Also, at the moment we are developing an open testing methodology for ICO startups at platform, and during the testing we are going to pay special attention to the feedback and wishes of users on both sides (investors and startups) in order to implement the most convenient and useful features in the working release of the platform.
In addition, we are preparing a database designed to help start-ups avoid common mistakes when conducting ICO and achieve higher KPI of their projects. A number of papers is being prepared to be published addressing the issues of market analysis and identification of problems that ICO startup is going to solve, development and marketing packaging of the startup product, team building, writing of high quality documentation for ICO (including White Paper), legal protection issues, typical risks management and much more issues.

Op 25 en 26 november vond Science Fest plaats in het planetarium gesitueerd in het historische gebouw van de grootste gashouder in Sint Petersburg. U kunt het DESCROW project ondersteunen door erop te stemmen.

Veel projecten gebruiken Borgstelling door derde partijen als derde onafhankelijke partij (op voorwaarde dat er toestemming nodig is van meerdere deelnemers om een transactie uit te kunnen voeren) om het geld dat bij een ICO is opgehaald te beheren.
Bij deze benadering kan de borgstelling worden aangetast en bestaat de kans dat er ten gunste van de startup gemanipuleerd wordt door aan de belangen van de houders van tokens voorbij te gaan. Gedecentraliseerde borgstelling behoudt alle rechten van het beheer van de fondsen voor aan de investeerders, hetgeen risico op verlies van geïnvesteerde fondsen wegneemt en de  Startup motiveert getrouw de beloften, om het uiteindelijke product te vervaardigen, na te komen.

De gedachte is dat  de Startup het ontwikkelproces van het uiteindelijke product in fasen opdeelt.. En dat de Startup het geld dat tijdens de ICO is opgehaald niet in een keer, maar in fasen ontvangt.
Dit betekent dat, wanneer men aanvankelijk voor het project niet aan dergelijke voorwaarden wenst te voldoen, men met oplichterij te maken heeft, en het team dat het uiteindelijke product wel wil maken en hier maximaal gebruik van wil maken, geen oplichterij is.
Het laatste woord is natuurlijk aan de investeerders, die, indien zij op een dergelijke manier willen investeren, de goede Startups uit de grote hoop die nu de crypto industrie overstromen kunnen “kristalliseren”.
Met dit plan behoeden we tevens het vermogen van de investeerders voor verlies, omdat wanneer een Startop in de volgende fase van het project de boel oplicht, de overschotten aan de investeerders geretourneerd worden.

Blockchain heeft zijn waarde als gedecentraliseerde gedistribueerd register bewezen en de groeiende wereldwijde interesse aangaande dit onderwerp getuigt daar direct van.
Door de introductie van blockchain is een nieuw paradigma van relaties tussen mensen ontstaan, dat diensten van tussenhandelaren aan dit proces uitsluit, maar wat nog niet ten volle wordt benut en ook deels wordt gemanipuleerd. De reden hiervan is dat de beheerstructuren en de ondersteunende diensten rond blockchain niet verschillen van de traditionele kapitalistische benadering.
Op haar beurt wint de ICO (Initial Coin Offering), als een nieuwe idee van zaken doen om projecten te financieren, steeds meer aan populariteit. Het geldbedrag dat derhalve de economie invloeit stijgt jaarlijks en wordt reeds op miljarden USD geschat.
Bovendien zit het traditionele stelsel voor het ophalen van investeringen, crowdfunding, dat al geruime tijd haar levensvatbaarheid, en dat het daadwerkelijk op wereldwijde schaal opereert, heeft bewezen, in de weg van wereldwijde veranderingen en aanpassingen aan het nieuwe e-commerce paradigma.
DES gaat met de tijd mee, houdt de marktbeweging in de gaten en zal een noodzakelijk plaatsvervanger in de nieuwe economische ontwikkeling zijn.

Gezond verstand, pragmatische en exacte berekeningen houden geen gelijke tred met een dergelijke groeiende investering als de ICO. We zien een geweldige hoeveelheid ideeën op de markt verschijnen, maar het is gewoonweg onmogelijk de goede bedoelingen van een projectteam en de levensvatbaarheid van het business plan te monitoren. Investeerders doen dat wel een beetje, maar ze proberen haastig in een zo’n groot mogelijk aantal bedrijven te investeren met de gedachte: “Wellicht zullen de aandelen die ik heb gekocht in waarde toenemen en word ik in korte tijd rijk.”
Het klopt, blockchain is echt een technologie dat ervoor kan zorgen dat er bedrijven met meerdere miljarden marktkapitalisatie ontstaan. Desalniettemin sluit dit niet uit dat er geen gewetenloze projecten ontstaan, die weliswaar aan het begin van een fondsenwervingscampagne niet van plan zijn om na beëindiging van de ICO onmiddellijk geld op te nemen en te verdwijnen. Maar op het moment dat de projecten grote sommen geld ontvangen, welke voldoende zijn om voor zeer lange tijd een comfortabele leven te leiden, en niet verantwoordelijk zijn voor het niet retourneren van deze fondsen aan de investeerders, komt er luiheid en aarzeling om de hoek kijken om de uitgedachte ideeën te implementeren. De winst die zij kunnen ontvangen met de implementatie van de ideeën ligt ergens in de toekomst en de kans dat dit wordt bereikt is niet 100%, maar zij hebben de fondsen van de ICO reeds in hun bezit.   
Het gevolg is dat de innovatieve benadering om geld op te halen (ICO) zich in een compromitterende toestand bevindt.

1. Ontbreken van absoluut vertrouwen in Startups.
2. Gebrek aan vertrouwen in borgstelling, doorgaans door een enkele persoon of een bedrijf op de achtergrond.
3. Gebrek aan controle over de besteding van de fondsen gedurende de implementatie van het project.
4. Gebrek aan een handige interface voor interactie met de Startup die bezig is het uiteindelijke product tot stand te brengen.

Borgstelling, multisig is een uitstekende oplossing om de veiligheid van het verzamelen, opslaan en distributie van waarde te vergroten. Maar van oudsher sluit het de aanwezigheid van de menselijke factor niet uit en kan het op verschillende manieren gemanipuleerd worden.
De oplossing van bovenstaande problemen, met vertrouwen in het project, consistentie van het team en de bevestigende intermediair (borgstelling) is:
-    Gedecentraliseerde Borgstelling. (DES)
-   Het Gedecentraliseerde Escrow Platform. (PDES)
DES maak het mogelijk om, met meerderheid van stemmen, de verdere financiering van het project te bepalen, waarvan eerder de fasen van de te ontvangen tranches voor de implementatie van het idee zijn gedistribueerd. Naar wij hebben begrepen is het onmogelijk om tegelijkertijd programmacode te schrijven, een werkend model te maken en een winstgevende business op te zetten. De fasen van implementatie zijn in tijdsperioden opgedeeld en nemen minstens zes maanden in beslag. Derhalve is het gebruikelijk en realistisch een stappenplan te maken en in fasen te financieren, en waar dit niet het geval is vraagtekens te zetten bij de levensvatbaarheid van het project, en dat de Startup de wil heeft de opgehaalde fondsen te gebruiken voor de doeleinden waarvoor ze bedoeld zijn.
Elke fase van het project omvat het noodzakelijke werk, dat de Startup voor een bepaalde datum moet uitvoeren en ter beoordeling aan de investeerders moet aanbieden voor de volgende financiële ronde.
DE bevat een stem mechanisme, waar de beslissing door de meerderheid (meer dan 51%) van de directe campagne deelnemers en investeerders in het project, overeenkomstig het aantal aandelen, wordt genomen.

Voor Startups:
PDES zorgt ervoor dat er niet aan de goede bedoeling van de Startup getwijfeld hoeft te worden om een afgerond product te ontwikkelen, zoals aangekondigd aan het begin van de campagne, en om, in geval van overmacht, waardoor de implementatie van het project wordt aangetast, de investeerders in het project te beschermen tegen onvoorziene verliezen;
-   Eenvoudige feedback van investeerders;
-   Mogelijkheid om het product tijdens de ontwikkelingproces te verbeteren.

Voor Investeerders:
PDES biedt u de mogelijkheid een nauwkeurig beeld van de integriteit en de intentie van het startup team te krijgen en nauwgezet de opgestelde stappen van het ontwikkelproces van het product te volgen;
-   Op het moment dat de fasen gefinancierd moeten worden, kan men zien hoe competent het team is, hoe professioneel het de markt, waarin het product ontwikkeld wordt, bestudeert en kent;
-   Maximale veiligheid en beveiliging voor geïnvesteerde fondsen. Er vindt volledige teruggave van gereserveerde investeringen plaats in het geval van het niet nakomen van vooraf opgestelde verplichtingen en onredelijke tekortkomingen in de uitvoering.

Voor ICO / crowdfunding platforms:
PDE zal vertrouwen wekken voor de site en de projecten die erop staan vermeld. Het zal één van de belangrijkste redenen zijn om de omzet van binnenlands digitaal vermogen en, uiteindelijk, de kapitalisatie van het bedrijf te vergroten.

Voor de gemeenschap / cryptogemeenschap:
In het algemeen zal DES helpen om de kapitaalmarkt en het domein van crowdfunding rondom cryptovaluta te herstellen.
-   Het zal ervoor zorgen dat het aantal gewetenloze projecten, die voor hebzuchtige doeleinden worden gebruik, niet verder groeit: enerzijds vanwege het gebrek aan financieel inzicht van de bevolking en gebrek aan diepgaande kennis van blockchain technologie; en, anderzijds, vanwege de geometrisch progressief groeiende interesse in de crypto-industrie, waar, in de meeste gevallen, de doorsnee investeerder de basis veiligheden negeert en goedgelovig de verklaringen van pseudo-experts aanneemt. 

1)   Het platform biedt de gelegenheid om slimme ICO fondsenwerving contracten te integreren, geschreven voor ieder Blockchain (bijvoorbeeld: Ethereum), of met elk ICO-platform (WINGS, WAVES, OpenLedger, enz.)
2)   Geïntegreerde projecten laden hun projecten op PDE, waaronder drie eenvoudige parameters:
     2.1)   Duur van de periode
     2.2)   Geplande scope van de werkzaamheden aan het einde van de periode
     2.3)   Volgende tranche van de investering
3)   Investeerders die een deel van de tokens bezitten, die ze tijdens de ICO hebben gekocht, stemmen bij iedere fase voor verdere financiering van het project, behoudens bij fase 0 (het begin).
4)   Het stembesluit wordt aangenomen bij meerderheid van stemmen (meer dan 51% aandeel in het project).
5)   Voor iedere fase (periode) laadt de Startup de vereiste voortgangsrapportage / referenties op de PDES om ze aan de investeerders te tonen.
Op dat moment verschijnen er twee buttons in het account van de investeerder:
     5.1)   “Accepteer werk / stuur volgende tranche”
     5.2)    “Ik heb het vertrouwen verloren, ik verzoek de financiering af te ronden”. Bovendien dient de investeerder een feedback formulier in te vullen, waarin hij persoonlijk de reden voor dit besluit aangeeft. Dit biedt de Startup de mogelijkheid om feedback van de investeerders te ontvangen, hetgeen van belang is voor de verbetering van het team en het project, om de fouten in te zien en deze, zelfs ten tijde van opkomend negativisme waar dergelijke brieven de minderheid vormen, te corrigeren en het project nieuwe tranches door de meerderheid ontvangt.
6)   Nadat het besluit is genomen (meer dan 51% aandeel in het project):
“JA” – de volgende tranche wordt vrijgegeven aan de Startup
“NEE” – de resterende fondsen worden terugbetaald aan de investeerders op de adressen waar ze vandaan kwamen.
7)   Alle ICO fondsen worden uitsluitend met de Multisig handtekening van de investeerders  opgeslagen (een open slim contract) (noch de Startup, noch DE service heeft deze). Elke handtekening heeft zijn eigen gewicht – aantal aandelen in % (percentage punten).
   Aanvullende functionaliteit:
     8.1)   De Startup kan aangeven dat het project vertraging heeft opgelopen, maar niet langer dan 6 maanden. En er slechts één vertraging per projectfase beschikbaar.
     8.2)   Mogelijkheid voor andere stempercentages die op het besluit van toepassing zijn (van 1 tot 100%). Deze mogelijkheid wordt alleen geboden aan gemeenschappen die de PDE voor andere manieren van stemmen gebruiken.
