The quality of this forum deteriorates by the minute.  I remember years ago reading a post about how to make a bitcoin hardware wallet by soldering wires together from electronic boards.  Now there's scams and people asking stupid questions and answers are even more stupid.   Huh
That is how the revolution will be. Back in the day people dreamt of flying in the air and making a bomb that could destroy the other country, now we have selfie sticks and cat-brushes.We really are progressing backwards. I agree with you the projects posted here on daily basis are worthless. Most of them are 'crypto-profile-management' or 'price-tickers',we don't want that kind of negativity around here.

I agree 100% but I'm convinced there probably is some project worthwhile. I am getting some offers but nothing I find interesting. If there is 100 community members that's 30 a month if there is 1000 that's a Starbucks a month each. Is everything worthwhile on crypto built altrady and I should just go spend my time on chromium or something?

Do you choose to trust the advice of unknown people on the Internet to invest your money in a project with a net expected return of $ 36,000 per year? These are a joke, or you are a fortunate person.
A successful project is a project has definite plans, known developers, a solution to a real problem and permanent headquarters. " and vice versa."
Investing in crypto is a risky investment, so be careful when choosing a project

Yeah, I naturally am inclined to think that there's got to be one idiot in this deal, if ever it were made. Either the project owner, or the person willing to take it on.

Then again, in an industry where there's not enough expertise to meet demand, and where apparently people earn tens of thousands on these kind of projects, and bounty hunters earning my year's salary in a week, I suppose it's not beyond reality for a $3k a month project owner to ask in this forum.

Most running SMEs in typical industries would see this as a successful operation. Or am I still overly optimistic about people on this forum?

Probably is one idiot, and it's probably me  Smiley but given how frothy the space is doesn't seem unreasonable. I was thinking of SAFTS and forks rather than ICO , but yea 3k a month is the magic number when the  (small) software company becomes self sustaining. Well below market rate but not work for free

Ha... well I suppose how you've responded takes away a little of that idiocy, and I agree with you, the "frothiness" of the space, and the limits of realistic expectations in this Wild West, is at least worthy of certain exceptions.

3k is definitely not too much to overlook, I'm actually surprised you're not getting offers from amateur projects - though forks and the like really aren't going to attract anyone above amateur levels. From the headlines out there, there aren't enough devs to go around, contrary to what you're observing.

Is there a project that badly needs to be implemented and for which it would be easy to raise funds?  Say one that would yield around 36k over a year. Funds could be sent to a multisig and then used to pay for development.

Do you want to invest?

are you talking about ICO? ICO - "Initial Coin Offering" used as a form of crowdfunding for a new project.
so that means they have the product on offer, with the help of their project with real crypto has value such eth or btc. We get their token  "ICO " with big bonuses or with a cheap price of the original price which they prepare.

And when the project is successful they usually using 1-5% total raised fund for promotion in specific communities of bitcoin.

that's why investors need a good project. and do their research before invest anything .
But it is also still a lot project of that is already very promising and has a concept and an outstanding Team. still end up being a failed project or a scam.

I'm not looking for a project to invest in, I'm looking for a profitable project that lacks a developer. There seems to be a lot of developers without projects, I'm wondering if there are too many developers or if projects simply don't yield enough money to make it worthwhile for the developers.

Their are lot of projects where developer have run away or not able to fill the project properly. you have to check it and can proceed to talk with them. Even some coins who are listed but as developer was not able to fully develop the project and run away in that project also you can develop and earn it.

Can you name two? While there are many reasons for a.developer to run away, one man's gold is.anothet.mans treasure

Work for freeno for a cut of future tokens, maybe. Let's say you have an interesting project with a large engaged community but lack the funds, and have the chicken and egg problem. Now if I can bring you a developer who will work for tokens or an investor who will pay a developer in exchange for his tokens(and I get a cut) you overcome the problem.

Okay I understand what you are looking for. You're looking for those ICO's / projects that lacks of budget and you are willing to fund it so that they can pursue and start their operation / pre-sale, etc.

And the project that you prefer is able to make $36,000 or more for a year.

Why not look and use your time alone for those projects that you can entrust with your money? With that "easy to raise funds", this mindset of someone that can potentially be a victim of a scam.
Yeah, I think It's right. search on the forum, you can find work, good luck

Most of the time projects don't have the capital to attract developers in their pre-seeding stages, and hence wish to offer developers equity instead. Developers normally aren't interested in equity and prefer cash. Thus, the "chicken and the egg" problem whereby projects badly need developers, and developers badly need projects, however no matching can be done.

I don't understand, you are asking if someone have an idea that would make around 36k a year and for some reason does not want to realize it and wants you to realize the idea for him ? Or I understood it completely wrong ?
