I guess all those catholic priests, including the pope where false prophets. And I guess the last days have lasted for about the entirety of Christianity.

Third-rate religious arguments aren't what I wanted to get here. Religion is something humans should have shed about 2000 years ago, everyone who still believes is.... well wrong.

Your definition of a false prophet is anyone who has failed.

You have to accept there is no true Christianity it's all false. They are all false prophets.

The bible always makes these useless predictions. There will be earthquakes, there will be hunger and starvation. Water will sometimes be wet .



Well, here are some bible style predictions from me, proving that atheism is correct (if the false logic that bullshit predictions make an argument correct)
Christians (of all denominations) will be raping and molesting children and be shielded by their congregation. And that is how we know there is no god.

On whether god exists, it's truly irrelevant. I mean if you believe in a parallel universe who is to say there isn't a universe where Middle earth exists? Or Hogwarts? Or Westeros from Game of Thrones? And yes, that is how far fetched god is.

I feel like the larger issue here is that lots of people who grew up in a strictly religious environment tend to be sexually repressed.

Many of us from the forum studies the bible and the others for Quran. I've seen relative threads before about it.

OP, your surprise is even surprising (no pun intended) to me. Haven't read in the Bible about how false prophets will arise in the last days? Even Jesus said it that on the last day He will say to them, "I know ye not. Depart from me you workers of iniquity. So, it doesn't really bother me again whenever I hear how the clergy have made a mess of the gospel through their lasciviousness and materialism. Most of these people are agents of Satan

Nobody is perfect in this world and I think even God accepts that is why he is giving forgiveness for the sins we did knowingly or unknowingly.

If you are a spritual religious person it doesn't mean you have trust someone who is saying he can guide you to the path of God, it is okay to accept their path it you need to decide whether you have to follow the things or not.

By the way, I wonder if you think the "sexual deviants" are any worse than thieves, liars, hypocrites, sorcerers, murderers, haters, idolaters, etc? They definitely are not.

the thing with religion. is the loopholes/clauses.

take any sin.
those in the religion will get forgiven for their sin whilst if your not religious your sin is seen as nasty and harmful.
de-code that and its saying if your in the religion do whatever the f**k you want and no trouble will come to you.

so the real question is. are sins actually harmful. or are they like saying 'you cant breath air unless you join our group and attend our meetings and make donations, so if you want to live, donate donate donate'

when christians use this 'sins will be forgiven' clause. they really use it. and do many hypocritical things

Well One Christian don't represent the whole christianity though this issue (if true since it is one side topic and we have not heard another side and evaluate which telling the truth or not) is really frustrating while so many people are seeking for what to believe here we are prominent and respected people connected in religion is making news with bad publicity.
If this is true or not one thing must be answered what will be the effect in whole Christianity?
