However lets look at the facts.

I didn't know that Neo-Nazis use the number 88 as an abbreviation for the salute Heil Hitler. However, I do know that the Chinese consider the number 8 as a lucky number, and heard that nine months before 08/08/08 there was an explosion in couples conceiving babies.  They all wanted their baby's birthday to be 08/08/08 because they consider 8 to be so lucky.

There could be other reasons for people using 88 in a name besides the Neo-Nazi reason.
