Merit earned in the last 120 days: 682
The date (in gray font, Amsterdam time) on loyce.club/120days now links to the post that triggered the update. This way I (we) can see which campaign uses this.

I'm done testing, hope this helps Cheesy

I'll say one thing. If the change reduces the amount of shitposters then it's beneficial.
We all know that the sig. campaigns are the main generator of spam. As long as we have campaigns we need tools to make them efficient so the forum doesn't look like a cesspool of meaningless soam for the newcomers and keep those who are not interested in the signature campaigns but are tired of the spam. It's not a secret, meny old users have left because of the spam.

@LoyceV i like your solution, hopefully the managers will start using it Smiley

I had some time, so I made something Smiley

Post this on any public board:

Sample post before editing
Merit earned in the last 120 days:
(it doesn't have to be red, and you don't have to post "")
(this only works if it's a new post, edits are ignored)

Wait a few seconds, then go to loyce.club/120days for the result.
Edit your post and enter your Merit total. Use (Copy this link) to add a direct link for the campaign manager to verify: http://loyce.club/120days/index.html#125

Sample post after editing
Merit earned in the last 120 days: 680 Merit.

BBCode:
Code:
Merit earned in the last 120 days: [url=http://loyce.club/120days/index.html#125]680 Merit[/url].

Campaign Managers: feel free to quote this post in your campaign thread if you're interested in the 120 days Merit count.

Note: quoting this post triggers an update to loyce.club/120days too.

Not your keys, not your coins!
This might work if I want to check the amount of merit I have received In the last 120days, but the OP suggestions will help if not only me but others to see the merit earned in the last 120days this can make work easy for camping manager to know how many people are truthfully/incorrect or false about their total earned merit in the last 120 days.
Stats are stats only. They are boring and they are not always a good representative for quality of one user and corresponding post quality. Managers don't solely and blindly look at earned merits and conclude about quality of applicants.

2 users have earned 20 merits in last 120 days are probably having differerent quality and contributions on the forum. I don't care to check they applied with honest figures and they have same earned merits or not. It does not make any sense.

Contributions include past, current and future. Sometimes people get troubles with their real lives' issues and have less time online. Then, they likely make less contributions and earn less merits than they previously or usually do.

It Would Have Been better If This Could Be Implemented Thereby Redusing The Work loads Of Campaigns Managers. @TheBeardedBaby Work prefers The CMs Testing The Encrypt Data So As To Make Work Easied And faster.
Check abovw reply. Why would forum need to adjustment something which would be benefit for campaign managers? I do not see any other use of this also.
Why are you using such font? People can read normal font here.

One of those things is the Signature Campaigns Management, to filter the spammer and shitposters now the campaign managers required a certain amount of merit to be earned in the past 120 days in order to accept participants.
Although I like the suggestion, I don't think the forum should adjust to make it easier for signature campaign managers. And they still need to review the Merited posts to check if the Merit was earned.

A third party service can easily provide this without involving Admin. I've been thinking about offering my scripting-services (example) for the benefit of campaign managers, but didn't get to make a topic yet. Apart from this example I have a much better working system to review and count posts, but it's non-public.

I like the suggestion and it would make it easier to check the merits and the merits earn in 120 days for a lot of users.

But @LoyceV have a point here, Hmmm I guess its because we need the information of merits for joining a signature campaign which should not really be the focus or should not be the focus here in the forum. Maybe we should focus or improve other parts of the forum which is more important than this matter.

@BitcointalkProjectBot compiled by GreatArkansas has already one of the feature OP is looking for. You can check merits received within last 120 days through this bot; sent merit data isn't available- adjusting some code would do that as well I guess.

I made this suggestion a few months ago and then found out there are very quick ways to do it, one of them being simply replying in the topic I linked above, removing the reply after 10-15 seconds and then visiting http://loyce.club/120days/. Wouldn't be bad if the topic got bumped like one time per week though, for a higher visibility. Smiley

I'd have to guess that theymos and those working on Epochtalk are more focused on it than on SMF and probably consider adding new features to the SMF a waste of time (and might even be harder than adding features to Epochtalk) considering the new forum is under work.

This should be a very easy fix. Epochtalk is not comming anytime soon, even tho it's almost finished it needs a lot more testing. So I don't see any migration process in the next 1-2 years, probably even more...
Small fixes were implemented before on our SMF, so maybe this one can also be implemented if it's a Easy Peasy job Smiley

This is a good suggestion and can really help for signature participants. You can also use this bot that can recognizwd your merit received during the 120days [TELEGRAM BOT] Merit, Trust List, etc. [INFORMATION] its accurate when giving data on your number of merits also the total merits received can be computed too.

After the merit system came in place, not only the post quality increased and the spam decreased but many other thing have changed/adjusted to the new system.

One of those things is the Signature Campaigns Management, to filter the spammer and shitposters now the campaign managers required a certain amount of merit to be earned in the past 120 days in order to accept participants.
This is a big improvement to control the quality of users accepted and keep the forum ecosystem spam-free. We all agree that this have only positive effect on the forum so let's make the life of those who apply and the managers a bit easier.

If I have to calculate my received merit by hand, it takes quite some time. Of course, there are 3rd party options you should trust to click*, but those are not endorsed by the forum and many people are not familiar with them.

What I suggest is a simple solution, see below.
I have given two variants.
- to add "=xxx"
- to add ",total: xxx"

*- bpip.org , loyce.club
I personally trust both 3rd party websites.
