So, I think forum administration should find a way to stop scammers open new thread in marketplace section.

That is literally the entire purpose of the Trust system. It is designed to stop people trading with scammers. I don't think forum administration should start placing posting restrictions on those with negative trust, as that's a terrible idea. Some people don't even have negative trust for "scamming".

There should be restriction for that. One person = One threads in one month only. That would be a better solution.

No. Real bad idea. 1 thread a month, or any set time period, is going to block a lot of situations in which >1 thread may be needed.

Yes but something like only 1 thread per category, like if you are selling physical coins just make 1 thread with all of them instead of 1 thread per type of coin.

I can see combining some threads.  But 1 thread per months is just to much to ask.  It would be horrible finding products.

I can see physcial coins, miners, etc a seller combing them into groups.  But if you did all of what some sell it would not even fit it all in subject line.

Yep the 1 month limitation is not good, maybe make another section or sections in the marketplace for physical coins and other common products there, i mean physical coins take up 50% of the whole marketplace

I know people have tried for it before, but a sub forum for coins might be worth it.   It's grown into a good sized business.  And has many many repeat customers and sellers.

It would clean it up some, does not help scam OP talk about though.

Well im not sure about the scam part, i don't think scams happen that often and im pretty sure if someone is marked red not many people would want to do business with them, maybe with escrow.

One thread per month is pure nonsense. What I do think is necessary, is that there should be more sections within the market place, that will make the marketplace a much more pleasant place to browse through.

This seems something like dictature. I don't like and don't approve such directions. Everyone has the right to wrote what he think and everyone is free to read or not that or another thread. This is a free forum and such must remain. It is a forum which have in its cenetr bitcoin and was born as a free technology far away from rules that can limit it.

-Scammers. First of all, scammers(users with negative feedback) can open new threads in marketplace section. That is so stupid because when somebody buy something from scammers.........they get scammed! So, I think forum administration should find a way to stop scammers open new thread in marketplace section.

I don't think that the scammers have that success you mean. If one scammers open a thread and the people who read its thread see that red things in his account think twice or even more before give money. Me, for example, never believe one them. Never give them money, and never give them trust in what they wrote. So, probably their thread is useless. maybe the moderators make good thing if remove their posts but have them time to control all this threads?

Censorship is not always a good thing, however if you find that an users have opened a lot of 'useless' and repetitive thread... simple report it to a moderator. No one will buy a products from a well known scammer or maybe he will use an escrow (that's sure).

As you know, bitcointalk marketplace section open for every product but it is very hard to sell something. Why?

-Scammers. First of all, scammers(users with negative feedback) can open new threads in marketplace section. That is so stupid because when somebody buy something from scammers.........they get scammed! So, I think forum administration should find a way to stop scammers open new thread in marketplace section.

-People who constantly open new threads. I hate these people. Usually they sell domains and all other useless things. I mean, moderators needs to check this section more often because they are the real scammers. They scam the marketplace section and they try to dominate with their threads.

There should be restriction for that. One person = One threads in one month only. That would be a better solution.

If we can get rid of from these two things, marketplace section will be more safe and more clean.

Hope mods or admins read these and take some actions.

Thanks.

There is no way to stop scammers because they can just create new accounts over and over or even buy them.
As for the second point, it may be a good idea to moderate a bit better the spam of new threads if they are each for each domain and force them to open only one thread with all their domains.

Any attempt to use the trust system as a basis for granting users access over other users is ridiculous.
No, there isn't one single trust system which everyone uses.
You assume that DefaultTrust is binding. But no it is not necessarily binding.
I may not trust someone on tier 1 of the default trust, and I may trust people who are not on the default trust list at all.

Imagine if you were banned from posting on the Marketplace because some random person, not on your trust list had just given you a negative trust.
That would be horrible. And for the people not on the default trust system, this is how it would be.
Furthermore, the trust system is not moderated. This means that you are allowed to give anyone negative trust at any time, and it is upto others to decide if they find your trust valid. What you're suggesting would allow anyone on DefaultTrust to essentially give any user a ban from marketplace, and unlike mods who might have similar powers, they would not be able to be held accountable or have any rules to follow.

No. Just no.

Not all negative trust is equal to being a scammer in some cases. In some cases they can be a newbie not reading what they are supposed to.
While this idea is a solution, it is by no means perfect.

There should be restriction for that. One person = One threads in one month only. That would be a better solution.
I want to sell a domain, a bitcoin sticker and a t-shirt. Do I have to make a single thread about all of these completely separate items or wait three months to even start selling them? Neither of those are solutions, they are both bad ideas.
What about if I want to create an auction, sell something straight up and exchange some BTC for USD? Do I have to wait three months to do that too? Your 'solution' is massively flawed.

1- Well, if you are little bit smart you know the rules of forum. I'm newbie too but I don't do stupid things in forum. I still think first one is good solution.

2- Than that's mean nobody can bring a logical thread solution to marketplace.

Some people sometimes get negative trust because they are taking a loan without Collateral and just because he didn't read a sticky thread or someone because he is selling something he is not supposed to (there is no rules on the section sticked so.. yeah) .

Moderators and administrators don't close threads for likely scams , people should use their brains . and I personally don't like your suggestion about posting only once a month kinda abused and it's nonsense this will simply increase alt accounts and make people post more on Marketplace to evade this rule .

If it was UP to me really , I wouldn't allow Newbies I guess to post on Marketplace that's all . and we really need a sticked thread on the Marketplace to let people know what's allowed to sell and what's not .

- Back to what you said first , If we don't allow people to post on Marketplace because they have negative trust then we shouldn't allow people give negative trust unless they made transaction with that user .
