I really do not see it as a good idea, because as time passes, people will begin to know more and more about bitcoin, and if they see a series of numbers, letters and special characters, people will suspect and it is very likely that are given that it is a private key.

If you make it too small, I think you could find out, there are many ways, I recommend that you do not, and in my personal opinion I do not have a very good concept about tattoos, first because it represents marking your body and secondly that You do not know what kind of reaction you can bring and with the total consequence that it is very difficult for you to donate blood someday.

Better keep your password somewhere safe and not so in sight, remember that most people seek to do evil, very few think in a good way and are happy because you do well.

I believe there is other way for you to secure your private key and there's no need to tatoo yourself with your private. What if the person can see your tatoo know about private key and they can try to open your account so possible will open or hack your account everything will possible to happen. Remember too tatoo is better to have like design of your family not a private key. Try other way to make secure your private key without lossing it.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Would it be permanent tattoo? Why have private  keys permanently tattood on your body when you are not going to hold the bitcoin forever?
The body is not the right place to make such things. If it becomes popular, thieves could be looking all over your body to find private keys.

I have been thinking of getting my first tattoo, an encrypted private key on my body. The obvious con is that it does not protect against a $5 wrench. But the pro is I can never loss it.

However I was thinking if I got it small enough, if I was ever kidnapped, would they really see if its in a hidden spot. And could I like scratch or bite it off to destroy it.

Maybe get it hidden in a tattoo?

I think that it should be possible to have the seed words tattooed on your body, as long as you are the only one who knows in what order the seed words have to be used.
To minimize the risk, use a new tattoo shop for each word! and don't tattoo the words in the same order they have to be used in your seed.

Werent there a toooon of brain wallets that were empted at defcon a few years back

I like the prison break tattoo idea.

The idea isn't that theres a better way to save BTC. Its that, no matter what, your btc can be easily spent. If I got it tattooed than the tattoo will be pointless for me to unload it. Its that there is no better way to not spend the btc

Make it like a prison break tattoo. Your whole body tattoed with the private keys hidden on separate parts. They will only kidnap you or steal your keys if they know you have tons of bitcoin. So don't go announcing it to everyone and you will be safe.

Definitely a bad idea and that's because in case you are kidnapped you will most likely be drugged in order to fell asleep and then you suddenly wake up in tied in a chair so there is nothing you can do in that moment. If someone knows you have your key somewhere on your body you better be sure they are no so stupid to let you know they are going to kidnap you until it's to late.
The only thing that comes to my mind right now.
I couldn't even think of pros for getting your private key tattooed on yourself rather than not losing it.
While the con's on this act are plenty and you've said the best scenario.

No, I won't do that.
I am sure there are many ways for us to keep our private keys in other places and not tattoed our body to protect the keys.
But if you want to do that way, then you can do it in anytime but make sure you can hide it with care.

When I have sex with tattooed girl, I play strip search game as a foreplay. Get her completely naked and take a good look at her body, like spreading her ass in search of more tattoos. You could end in same position only with gang of homosexuals looking to discover your private key. Good luck biting off your body part you cannot even lick, like your nose or elbow. From my experience I can say that even trapped animals have hard time biting off their limbs.
