I'm not absolutely sure what you're trying to say there, 4ex but if you're asking why QPUV2StDUxkSXVj3BwRCwr5PGPjBTvW7xG has got a large expected payout when the next block is found, it's because they have found  lot of shares recently which are still in the currently live PPLNS share pool .You can see how much they've contributed to recent hashing in the weekly or monthly graphs ( http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373/static/graphs.html?Week or http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373/static/graphs.html?Month ).   If they don't return to mining, their shares will eventually drop out under the PPLNS system but currently they're still live shares even though they may not be mining at this very moment.

You've not given your mining address but if you look at our own hashing graph I'd expect you haven't contributed as much hashing in total recently.   Smiley

No, the +numbers are simply a pseudoshare difficulty.  Basically they ensure that your miner reports pseudoshares at regular intervals of a few seconds.  This then helps to calculate your hashrate (which your miner reports) and in turn helps to create your hashrate graphs shown on the pool's graphs page.

The bitcoin wiki entry at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool for p2pool describes it this way:
Quote
Q: Why does my miner say it has found a lot of shares but p2pool say I have only found a few?!
A: The real P2Pool difficulty is hundreds of times higher than on normal pools, but p2pool essentially lies to your miner and tells it to work on relatively easy shares so that it submits shares every few seconds instead of every few hours. P2Pool then ignores any submitted shares that don't match the real share difficulty. By doing this, P2Pool can more accurately report your local hash rate and you can see if you are having problems with too many stale shares quickly

The actual amount you'll get paid per share is dynamic and can vary depending on the overall pool hashrate at any particular point in comparison to the minimum share difficulty at the time you found the share.  You can see on the graphs page a graph of how much you would get paid per block found by the pool if a block was found at any particular moment, based on the total number of "live" shares that you have.

Hello apmapm12, the most recent block found by the pool was block 398635, found yesterday morning (February 6, 2014, 04:33:21).  You can check this on the "Last Blocks" page.  From the graph page it appears you started mining after this.

Unfortunately hashrate hasn't yet returned to the levels it was at before the server company did their upgrade, during which I'm pretty certain they did a forced stop of the server which caused the problem of the pool's Prospercoin block database becoming corrupted (now fixed).  This was a one-off event which happened just at the wrong time.

The sooner we get some more people hashing again at the quarry the sooner we'll start finding blocks again, so tell your friends, family and pets to mine at the Quarry. Smiley

You will start to receive payments once the next block is found (your PRC address is in the list of addresses which will receive a payment in the "Expected Payouts if Block Found Now" page).

Bear in mind that if you're using the recommended +numbers after your PRC address then the miner's Yays are only pseudoshares to help display your hashrate. You need to find a real share before getting each run of payments. However the fact that you're in the "Expected Payouts if Block Found Now" page does confirm that you have indeed found at least one (or more) real shares. Yay! Smiley

Are the numbers that go with the hash rate equall the amount you are paid per share? Thank you for explaining how your pool works

Sorry about the downtime earlier. The server was shut down for just 15 minutes by the server hosting company whilst migrating to better hardware.  Unfortunately when it restarted, it ended up with a corrupted prospercoin block database (possibly caused by a very sudden server shutdown in the first place - grrrr).  I've restored a fresh copy of the blockchain and we're off and hashing again. Good to know it ended up OK, tumatos.

I've just rolled back to a slightly older version of p2pool as the latest version seemed to be making the time between shares far too short resulting in a high DOA rate for shares.  As long as everyone had the same DOA rate essentially this doesn't make any real difference to miners' individual earnings, but to get things working as it should we're now on a version of p2pool that I know will set the time between shares correctly.

Hey,

I mined this last night just to try it, and from your pool it says I gathered 1.38 PRC but only 0.26109144 was sent to my wallet.
Is this normal or am I  missing something?

My wallet address is the Qc7qxp7mGY5AT3nDMCmbaSqQDNBTGn7ac1

I'm now mining with another address, in case you're wondering.

Let's all Live Long and Prosper by mining prospercoin at TreasureQuarry's fun and friendly p2pool.

TreasureQuarry's reliable server is based in New York, in the USA.

It's quick and east to start mining at TreasureQuarry's Prospercoin pool. There's no need to "sign up" as your earnings go straight to your wallet.  The advantages with p2pool include the fact that no coins are held on the server - they go straight out to miners as soon as blocks are found.

Just use the following settings for your miner:

Mining address (url) (remember to include the port number after the colon)
http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373

Username:
A unique address from your Prospercoin wallet on your computer, for example my  mining address that I use on this pool is QN5oKq4nU5CmFZXNRKnBEoMjEiF84fbKXi (don't use this particular address otherwise your earnings will go to me). Please do not use an exchange address or online wallet address.

Password
Anything you like - this is unimportant with P2Pool

Therefore, using with pooler's cpu miner (source code available from https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer), as an example, use:

minerd -o http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373 -u YOURPROSPERCOINADDRESSHERE -p x

Choosing your psuedo-share difficulty

To get a good representation of your hashrate on the pool's graphs, and also to possibly reduce your DOA rate, adding the following to the end of your prospercoin address (including the + sign) is likely to  help. Just find your nearest hashrate from the table below:

Hash Rate
(KHash/s)   Difficulty
5        +0.00000582
10      +0.00001164
50      +0.00005821
100     +0.00011641
250     +0.00029103
500     +0.00058207
750     +0.00087310
1000    +0.00116414
2000    +0.00232828
4000    +0.00465656
8000    +0.00931312

For example if you 're mining at  40 KHash/s, use:

minerd -o http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373 -u YOURPROSPERCOINADDRESSHERE+0.00005821 -p x

This will make your miner report when it finds "pseudo-shares" of a certain difficulty (you'll still need to find real shares for payments to start).  Once you do find a true share, payments will start going straight to your wallet as soon as the p2pool finds blocks.   Due to the way p2pool's PPLNS (pay per last N shares) works, the payments may seem to start slow but will then build up to reach a peak and reasonably steady rate.

You can view statistics at http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373/static/ , and graphs at http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373/static/graphs.html . Your own graph will show on the graphs page under the heading of your prospercoin address.

Pool fee is just 1% which you can confirm at any time at  http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373/fee

Happy mining Smiley
