According to you which of the following five (or any other you like) will have the most prosperous year of 2017.

Golem
Nem
Steem
Decred
Factom

Do state some facts that support your favorite.

I agree on most of your choices. And I would like to add Ardor and RLC.

Biggest % gain for 2017 (or any given year) will be something that's very small at the moment, that can explode upwards. The problem here is that putting money on very small coins obviously involves more risk.

I'd suggest any promising new alt that runs on Ethereum; Aragon would be my number one choice here. I think it will be huge (might not be in 2017 though).

But is that a small enough coin to give a massive multiple? You might have to look outside the top 100. There will be a lot of junk here, but some with great prospects, too. In this range, I'd suggest Darcrus as a possibility. As always though, it goes without saying, don't throw money at it, do some research first. Personally I think it has a good chance.

Bitcoin, lisk and ripple are my best for this year. Actually 2017 was actually one of the prosperous year for me as I have not lost on my investment. All of us especially bitcoin buy and hold traders has made a great return this year. Bitcoin is actually a blessing to us.

Some comments about your coins

Golem - very tough slog in the mud competing against MSFT Azure and AWS and teh market cap of $400m limits the upside
Nem - like the Japan exposure, could easily be #3 in market cap displacing Ripple, fast transactions, POS
Steem - reddit style network growing, the value seen to track the number of posts
Decred - they have good governance, but so do many others Tezos, Zencash, don't see the moat here
Factom - offered on Microsoft, China smart cities contract

My vote is FCT of the five and this also coincides with my biggest position of the 5

Bancor looks promising, if you want to get into the ico.
LBRY is on the edge of releasing its open beta, the price should go up after.
DCORP has potential, derivatives in the market should be a popular

Well, except for golem other 4 had enough time to prove themselves. I haven't studied them but they're on the market for years already. Features, innovation and usage bring value and volume. They have neither.

Golem is very promising, assuming they make it work. If you need alot of computing power, instead of buying a superexpensive supercomputer, you can basically pay with golem tokens and use users combined computing power. Or something like that, as i recall. Which is extremely promising and innovating. Nothing like this currently exists.

Yeah I agree with you. I believe Golem will rock everyone this year, just like Stratis did.

We can add SONM on your list too. It will be like ETH was in 2015 a new way of mining crypto without wasting electricity.
Basically, you will stop burning your kilowatts and start serving calculations for the distributed World Wide Web.  ICO this June 15th for SONM Project. sonm dot io

SONM is all forked with no development stop spewing bs. I can say lots of things but if there is np development who cares?

My favorite of those you listed is Decred. Its still under a lot of development and I like the governance aspects of the coin, and i like they way the POS mining works.

Apparently they are going to do a "big release" of version 1.0 in April, so, hopefully the price will raise then but the "big release" is no secret so to a certain extent at least its probably already priced in.

I like the idea of Steem too especially as a decentralized alternative news network to the mainstream media, I wouldn't buy it but if you have the time to create content for it to earn your steem, especially if you are creating the content anyway (ie, if you are a youtuber) then I would go ahead and do that.

I know diddly squat about the other 3 so they may be good too.
