actually found this http://blog.rubypdf.com/pdfcrack/

currently bruteforcing with a charset that only contains characters in my name and numbers averaging 63504 w per second. I hope this is fast enough.

Any luck? Did you manage to crack your password?

Didn't in the end. I have the password in work but I wasn't going in today.
Thankfully they will let me send this to them next week.

Hi.
I have a PDF of a medical report from may this year. I know most of the password and what characters will be used in it. Its the format SurnameInitialDateofBirth or in any other order. Maybe without full DOB or no initial
I really need something to check permutations. I remember the password being given to me back in May. But now I need for 9am tomorrow morning as I have another check up (I didn't realize due to my illness.)

Anyone have any ideas what I could do or know any software to try permutations.

Thanks
Have you tried to BruteForce it? If you know the characters, it would make your work much easier.
