Are you talking about a specific site ?Do you have issues with the generation of the random seed ?I kinda have an idea. There is an answer to all of your questions.Maybe it will at least enlighten you on the subject.I know the original poster of the thread,he's a experienced man.Check this :

There are no possible exploits with this as far as I know, if they give you a way to see the hashes and to choose the seeds. But choosing a seed is pretty irrelevant, I think it's a superstitious thing to need to change the seed, I just use whatever seed that's there by default.
So my conclusion is I don't think we need to worry about the randomness when things are public.

That's why websites shows you server seed, but encrypted by sha-256 before your bet.
If you're talking about true randomness, there's no such thing, except if we're using atmosphere noise (like random.org)

i think i can understand how provably fair works , but i guess there is not
enough to prove fairness of a game , you see this all provably-fair thing
just proves that the next outcome is not changeable on the fly.

but how about next result ? is it random enough or just it is uknown for the client?
you see even if a user changes his/her client seed that is known to the server
but server keeping its seed well hidden otherwise cheating will be piece of cake

and we talk about seeds here ,noone so far talks about real random sources
a seed from a good random generator is almost as good but IT IS predictable.

it is predictable for the server and in that case result is known and in that case
what keeps the HOUSE owners to just change 1-2 results when they like ?

even if server advance with nonce its seed , since the whole function is
of course business secret , there is no way to prove fairness there.

i welcome site owners and programmers to respond with a reasonable answer.

//EDIT #1 as title says but i have a question about random source(s)
i am talking about WHO or WHAT decides future results , the current result is not the issue
if a player plays just 10-20 rolls without autobet the whole thing is fair enough but
for longer sessions most of us are keep playing some favorite patterns so even our
decisions are close to be known to an evil enough game server.
