Checked and the post has just been deleted again. The culprit is still at large with no ban. At least it was a high ranking account. I would understand if they were first issued warnings. But this is a new account whose sole purpose is to advertise illegal services.
I don't know why (certain) moderators have recently taken very soft and lose approach towards ban and unban rules, maybe it's some directive from ''above'' or just self-initiative.
It's clear that this actions deserves ban, same like multiple ban evasion means that member should be banned again, especially if he was unbanned before.
To be perfectly honest, I don't have nothing against people doing whatever they want in their free time with ID's, but forum could potentially get in trouble with this.

he deserves to be banned.
instead of stopping the action because there is already a negative tag on the account. even the post has been deleted by the moderator. today he made another post. the same offer.

I report to the moderator. Hopefully, the admin gives a more correct decision than just deleting the post.

I saw the post history of deleted accounts, he sold and bought several exchange accounts like Binance and FTX.
he sells personal documents for KYC verification. most likely the exchange account he sold was also based on fake document verification.
this is an illegal act. I think he will return with his business with another account.
Yeah, he's a bag of shit and I tagged him--but I'm not sure how much good it's going to do, as he just registered the account and will no doubt either start over with a new one or simply ignore any negative trust.  Anyone looking to buy the services he's selling likely wouldn't care about any negs given for the nature of said service.

Still, I'll also say "good catch" to OP for finding this asshole and bringing him to the attention of the community.  His posts ought to be scrubbed from the forum if you ask me.

I would like to start with I would never use a service like this, and disagree with it. Followed with a but, quoting myself here:

Opinion / conjecture: Over the years a lot of people opened accounts in a lot of places with information that may not have been accurate then, or over time changed like address / license information / whatever.

And unlike your bank that you by default used legit information with and knew to keep updated with the crypto exchanges they never did. Now that KYC is becoming mandatory a lot of people are having trouble verifying that they live at 1234 nowhere street. Or they moved twice since they registered with 100% legit info but now they can't prove they ever lived where they did in 2014. And so on....

Going back to the motorcycle world, we had a club member have to take a few 1/2 days at work because in 2002 he bought and titled a project bike, but never registered it. Moved a few times since then and lost the title. Went through hell at the DMV trying to get a new one sent to where he lived now, not where he lived in 2001 to 2004.

-Dave

So long as YOU are just trying to get YOUR money out of a service because you either did something stupid but, did not commit 'fraud', and they are making you jump through KYC hoops, I can actually see the need for people to get ID that might not be them. It's sucks and it's just about insane that you may have to commit fraud to get your money back. There are some people that will say 2 wrongs don't make a right, but at what point do you pay someone $100 to make you a fake ID, so you can get your funds out of an exchange / casino / whatever that sprung KYC on you after years of use.

-Dave

And with the 2 wrongs don't make a right; keep in mind 3 rights do however make a left for the next time you get lost in a new city that has a bunch of no left turn intersections.

The acts are against the forum rules. I wonder why the mods just deleted the posts and didn't ban him.

Isnt that a criminal offense already. Giving false identity and use it to scam is a serious offense. Not just a grave sin here on forum and even on outside world this is totally prohibited.

people who want that service are also scammers.
Secondly, if you knew that the id is fake and you willing to use that. Of course thats a literally scammer or hoax move there.

You are just advertising him. people who want that service are also scammers . Its like he will say thank you for the exposure.

I am pretty sure* his intentions are good, it's not the first time he exposes scams. Just, like everybody, he has to learn now and then to avoid helping by mistake the scammer.
Of course, since (in most cases) the internet doesn't forget, from the moment the scammer posted that, he has exposure. But now, with OP editing the quoted text and with the mods removing the scammer's post, his exposure is smaller.
So let's not be too harsh on OP, mkay?

* as sure as I can be about a person I only know from his actions on this forum.

While I could start with "good catch", I will also say that I am not sure you are advertising him too  Cheesy Cheesy
1. This kind of sales are illegal, so that user must at least be reported. (I'll report it right now, btw).
2. If you've bothered to tag him, it's not neutral you should have been putting there.

I am not promoting him and I dislike scammers even if the scam amount is a single dollar. Neutral trust: I am sorry that it become neutral trust. Actually, I got to click on the negative trust button. When I read your first sentence I visited that profile again and came to know it is neutral (already changed to negative).

Intention is good for people who doesn't commit crime for them to know which things they need to verify more since they could use this for transaction and it can cause harm to anyone if they could deal with those person who use fake ID.

But on other point of view for sure he didn't care about those red tags coming to his account and simply postinf this will make people aware especially those scammers that his service exist. For sure he might got more clients for seeing this post since somehow this awareness will help them to know where they can get those fake ID.

Isn't this similar to someone who sells already verified accounts, which is totally against the forum rules?

I saw the post history of deleted accounts, he sold and bought several exchange accounts like Binance and FTX.

Trading the accounts of these services is not allowed. Report anyone selling them. Newbies will be permanently banned; established members may be given warnings before being banned, but the relevant posts will be deleted.

  • N26

Services are added to this list when we come to believe that essentially no trades of such accounts are following our rules, which prohibit for example selling hacked accounts, accounts requiring KYC info, accounts created using stolen identities, etc. If you have a really strong argument for how you're selling these accounts without violating our rules, create a topic in Meta explaining in detail, and we may consider either removing the service from this list or giving you a one-time exemption.

This list only applies to sales of accounts, not invites, codes, etc., though sales of the latter items must still follow our usual rules.

(already changed to negative).

Very good.

I am not promoting him and I dislike scammers even if the scam amount is a single dollar.

That's what I used to know about you, however, your full quote just preserves his topic even after it was removed by a mod.
I advise you consider keeping only a small part of it, and especially with no reference to his address(es).

Edit: thank you.
